You’re not showing removal of panel bolts underneath panel.

So is that unit universal or do you have to have a different one for each make of car? If you use pre programmed sensors do you need that unit or will the cars chassis computer do that? These systems are BS and generally made for people who don't know how to drive. Don't know how to tell if you have a low tire, don't go out on the highway. That goes for people who have to have automatic transmissions also. I really need to know how to install new pre programmed sensors and get them to work without having to go to a damn dealer. Way back in the mid 90s the SAE forced auto makers to standardize their computerized power train components not realizing that they would come out with body (chassis) computers tossing in another hurdle for consumers to jump over.

I have a similar unit in my 2011 Sienna. My steering wheel controls didn't work either, and at night they also no longer lit up. On the new harness that plugs into the factory steering wheel controls, one of the wires in the adapter (orange, if I remember correctly), jumpers over to another connector in the harness. I had to cut that wire so that it only went to the steering wheel control circuit. Everything came to life and I was able to program the buttons successfully. The mode/mute button is now only mute, but it all works flawlessly. Look into that. I love the head unit otherwise, and enjoy the android auto feature. I have SXM in another car, so on this one I can use the SXM app though android auto without additional charges. Enjoy!

I installed P.L.Z Carplay with included backup camera. ruclips.net/video/99QQK0wjwC8/видео.html My 2014 Sienna L is basic model and doesn't have a steering wheel controls but harness which came with PLZ player has 6 wires for steering wheel.

jUST PAID SHY OF $3,000 for this fix with new Toyota part. I understand there were a number of units recalled. I'm SOL. (Sheet out of luck).

Odd... I just bought a 2009 Sienna LE with 140,000 miles and there are multiple thin cracks on the passenger side of the dash, but the 2006 LE with 200K on it which the 2009 is replacing has a pristine dashboard.

How do you remove the egr cooler? Those 2 nuts are hell to remove.
