Very nice
y Carter?
Wow. Bush? Bush Father?
Are you deaf or hearing?.....
This is great! I do tell my students to look, listen, and feel while they are sharpening their pencils: Look at what they are doing, listen to the change in the sound that indicates the pencil is no longer being sharpened, and feel for the slight reduction in pressure as the pencil jolts forward just a little when it's fully sharpened.
Wait…I’m hearing and I don’t sharpen my pencils by sound usually. I just look at it after a few seconds.
I grew up with "Z" but with a "P" handshape! Literally no one I know recognizes my version, but my parents INSIST it isn't a home sign and is the sign they learned from their teachers in NorCal and everyone they knew used it back when they had a social life in the Deaf community so maybe it's regional/generational.
Can you share your qualifications that allow you to teach ASL?
