I have traveled in this bangalore to trichy route more than 25 years back. Last stop was trichy then. The demand was more even that time. And return journey for some reason on that day broad gauge got canceled and they ran a special meter gauge train from trichy to Bangalore. It was just amazing to travel those days. Meter gauge train used to run in Salem Hosur Banaswadi route.😊
