Could someone explain me why Lutherian church allows the little children christening ? Did they have a different point of view than others protectant religious movements or cults ? I would think the reformist churches allowed baptism for adults only...
I think the view is that the child shall be in the hands of God. When christened children reached the age of around 15 years, the christening is followed up by a confirmation of belief which, in Sweden, includes a year of part-time studies under leadership of a local priest.
The audience should have stand up and greeted the Danish Queen when she entered the church!!

Well thanks, i am sure people are like me alot, but trust me we are kinda weid to people from other countrys. But do come if you come at winter, as an australian i am sure you have not seen anything as gold as finland in february.
HAHA, Yeah, its a thing we finns have we generally have a love-hate relationship with sweden, and it is an old joke in finland that sweden people are all gay, try to understand, we finns are really weird you should come and check it out some time.

If you look at part 2, the rest of the ceremony is there and yes she is baptize in the old traditional way. Prince Hakkon spoke in norwegian, but swedes and norwegians understand each other :)
