tried to explain to my son, after neil passed, through my tears, rush fans aren't fans, they're family, maybe even closer, something that transcends. 'spirit of radio' changed my life, thank you.
We are indeed a special breed of fans.. I last saw Rush on the Time Machine tour in Newcastle, England and I was walking by the Tyne bridge looking for a pub fo a few jars when we could see a pub taken over by Rush fans, as we had our Tshirts on people were banging on the windows beckoning us in.. Best evening ever, so nice, friendly people connected by one special band.. :)
