In Modula City 2006 Demo I found this I just stopped the Train and listened to this for 5 hours

4014 would have been more famous than the flying Scotsman and have been used in all of the Mobile,PC,MAC,Xbox and playstation train games.

If 4000,4001,4003,4007,4008,4009,4010,4011,4013,4015,4016,4019,4020,4021,4022,4024 were preserved like the 8 survivors. They could have been all of the 25 big boys saved from the scrap yard.

It could have been displayed at a museum like 4004,4005,4006,4012,4014,4017,4018,4023.

You used to be able to be on top of a mountain a mile from the tracks and hear the echos through my small town of the Ys and As hustling heavy coal trains. To this day you can faintly hear horns and the rumble of the modern diesels whenever they come up the grade. I would have loved to went back in time and seen that

On the day before we flew out of Germany, my study abroad group and I got off the ICE at a station about halfway to Frankfurt International Airport. Unfortunately, one of our trains was delayed or behind schedule. We had time to grab a snack, but my group was clearly unimpressed, looking and sounding frustrated. I said nothing, but internally, I laughed and thought, “Oh, please… what do you have to complain about? I know we don’t want to miss our flight, but we’re riding one of the fastest trains in the world! Germany is much smaller than the U.S., and our ‘fastest’ trains are significantly slower.” At least train seats are far more comfortable than planes seats, and in some cases, high-speed trains can even be faster than flying.
