Just speaking from a musical standpoint, it just felt like Mizzou was more upbeat and Iowa was a little stodgy. But I also know that Mizzou’s “standards” playlist is a lot more varied than most marching bands.

Could not watch the game so I thought I'd check this out. The HMB had gotten so much better at their halftime shows. But I am curious as it seems like a pre game performance from Mizzou, although they sounded good too.

I went back to my hotel earlier than usual last night for a swim and had no idea this was going on (saw them block off the road earlier but didn’t realize there was something going on that same night). So sad I missed this when I was just a few blocks away, but thanks to you, it’s as if I was there too! Looked like so much fun 🥳

Wow. We played this exact show with a few more tunes my sophomore year of high school as a midsize band (Class 3A in most competitions). Feels surreal to relive it. They did a good job.

My selection for Marching Band of the day today, November 7, 2024, is the University of Missouri Marching Band!!! 🎉🎉🎉 The Marching Mizzou are making a push towards the playoffs and have a big game this weekend against Oklahoma at home. The Marching Athletes will be ready for an awesome day of performances in helping the squad gain a key victory in its push for the playoffs!! This comes in the light of some amazing performances those far and some sweet uniforms!! Well done Tigers!! 😎🎶🥁🎉🏈🎉
