I love the information and you represent it well. I do think your music is too loud and it is hard to listen to you over the music.
Thanks for demonstrating the Plotter system. I am attempting to stay focused because I am easily distracted from my current task. I hope this system works for me because it is a big investment. I also keep a daily journal, Midori Hibino and the Hobonichi 5- year Techo. Glad you have a RUclips channel although you are only across the Delaware. I recently viewed your Stationery Fest vlog. My journaling buddy and I ventured to the festival on the 2nd day and it was great despite the rain storm. Thanks again!
I know!! re: Stationery Fest ~ it was a great time for a first-time event and well done despite the high humidity and storming going on. We enjoyed ourselves. =) As for PLOTTER, I feel like...even if you don't wind up using it for the original intention, it's so flexible you can use it for something else if you change your mind. This was a wonderful reminder to me as why I bought my Plotter! You two are the perfect nerds to present this system. I really need to learn your names! Young man, I love your explanation as to why you need your Plotter in your life. I love my TNs as well as m6 Plotter. But I truly need to use the Plotter more. Young lady, I love your list of foods in your kitchen and how you can easily see which items are running low. Great video!
Aw thanks for the kind words. You know, I don't actually use my PLOTTER every day, it's definitely more of an ongoing projects log book that I refer back to. Sometimes I will carry it with me and write in it every day, and other times it stays home. The M6 mini tho, curious what your setup is like. -Monk
@@omoionline Monk! My comment “I love my TNs as well as m6 Plotter” should have read my Plotter. I don’t have a mini! Haha! But I will share that I’m retired and use my Plotter (I have the same one you have) to track health issues, travel lists, notes as I’m watching RUclips videos, and a hodgepodge of other things that come into my mind as I sit at my kitchen table or wherever. I carry a pocket TN in my purse with a monthly diary and a blank refill to record whatever when I’m out. THEN I have a regular TN that includes 4 refills - weekly diary, monthly diary, miscellaneous lists (current music that makes me happy, list of series I want to watch, and so much more), and #4 includes my daily food plan, what I eat, fluid intake, this is my health plan - all charted out each day. Oh, and my Plotter also helps me plan home projects, etc. More info than you needed to hear! Haha! 72 year old here with time to share. I’m in the San Francisco Bay Area otherwise I would love to visit OMOI. Again, loved the Plotter video. Funny how it popped up today in my feed. Take care…Sandy
How do you fit so many inserts in without them sticking out way of the cover so much? I just got my first one and i only had two inserts and the card holder plus the zip pocket and it acts like its struggling to hold everything in... Does it eventually stretch some so that it can all fit?
I can't say for cerrrtain what her secret is, but yes, Liz's TN is already several years old so I'm betting the leather has more bend/give to it to accommodate all the refills. As with many leather products, you typically have a period of "wearing in" in which the leather starts out completely stiff and over time softens up and gets more pliable through regular use. It's recommended to literally handle your TN on a regular basis, to encourage this wearing in, as oils from your hands will lend to the softening and patina over time, showing character. Love seeing a lived in, chunky TN! Makes me want to abandon my current planning and journaling setup (which includes a passport for junk journaling) to upgrade to a standard size TN. Btw, love the slim pencil case. What brand is it and is it available in the online shop?
It's something we sold years and years ago! Made out of selvedge denim scraps.

These videos alwaysreminds me of those "What's in my bag videos" and I'm here for it 😂 It would be so cool to see how others in Omoi's staff use their tns and planners. I fell in love with Traveler's because of your shop. It was actually the first shop I ever purchased a Traveler's Notebook in person - my beloved blue tn💙 It's so true the more you use it, the more attached you get. Every scuff, scratch and ink blotch is a memory☺

I got a Plotter Mini M5 and all the accessories. I love it!!! Although it’s quite expensive, i think it will last me a very long time! I customized the sheets according to my needs. I hope there are more accessories for it! I love how it smells too! I am addicted to it lol

We shot this above our storefront, where we interact with the general public. Some of our staff have preexisting conditions, so we like to protect each other from potential covid exposure, which is still very prevalent in our area.
I’m considering getting a Plotter. You are helping me decide, but it is a bit pricey 😅
It's true about the price. It's like, if you are already using a binder system, and the PLOTTER binder is catching your attention, then yeah maybe consider the investment. But if you're not yet using a binder system, you could def try out a cheaper or used binder like Filofax or something online, and then use the PLOTTER refills in them, at least to see if it's a system you'll use before going full buy-in, you know? I want to get the plotter but change the rings to 15mm is that possible?
I would say that defeats the point of PLOTTER on a fundamental level. The hardware is unique, and buying a binder just to experiment with hardware seems like a bit of a risk. However, there might already be ring binders out there online that can accommodate 15mm, and you can certainly then get PLOTTER refills to go in that.
@@omoionline not really, it only adds 4mm. I’ve used one before but the leather encasing it has a back pocket and can’t really fold back.
Not sold on ring binders, but extremely sold on the 2600/cute mask/armor ring combo

Very understandable. The leather binder is very nice, but you can definitely experience PLOTTER with just the refills and using a 2nd hand or inexpensive binder in the meantime.

I wasn’t even considering buying the plotter because $$$ but y’all got me convinced! It sounds like exactly what I need as I sit here with a dozen unfinished notebooks but a million scraps of paper that I hoard
Right?! It's sneeaky like that. Like we pointed out in the video, it's good enough (and more affordable) to start with just the Refill Memo Pads before you pull the trigger on the binder. Of course, there's other types of binders out there too, and you could see about making a similar system with one of those (like a slim Japanese style binder for example which *cough we also sell cough*), but it's like the whole PLOTTER ecosystem, they really considered all the details.
