Indian Club Drill

Routines of this sort were once used in Olympic competition back in the early 1900's. Also, Indian Club Drills were once performed by gym classes or traveling gymnastic exhibition groups. Today, performing this kind of a drill is pretty much a lost art. The drill is performed here just to show you what these drills looked like.
Hey, I am about to enter the first competition ever for my Art. My Art has a message also... I pray to God it is heard. Also, I pray to God, that my artist statement and bio helps to create the deeper meaning behind my brush. Your video was a nice pause and reflection of my purpose. Thank you so much.
👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👍🏻
crazy to find people that were there a long time ago , i live there and many things hadn’t changed
About 20 years ago, when the US garnison was active, Kitzingen was not so beautiful! but also had a certain charm! through the small American pubs where GI's enjoyed the Kitzinger beer, and every young woman was greeted with hello sunshine (the GI's said Kitzingen is the small Las Vegas on the Main River).
You still making content girl?
Very cool! I was stationed on Harvey Barracks 1994 -1995 Eco 703rd. I then got transferred to Conn Barracks in Schweinfurt.
I was born on July 2011 3 🤣🤣🤣🤣😂😂

Thanks for the great video, i at spent 3 years at Harvey Barracks from 1988-1991. Great memories.
Çocukluğumun çok güzel günler yaşadığım şirin şehir.
looks like i have a lot to learn.
Susan your skills are amazing to watch and learn from. I found these videos through Paul's site. I want to learn this whole drill and have been watching it in slow motion and trying to keep up. Thank you for providing these videos, and helping to preserve the techniques! God bless.
Thanks for posting! Larsen HHC 10th Engr., 85-86. I have a dozen pics that matched your film!
I was stationed Aschaffenburg, from 80 to 82, and went to Harvey kaserne 3rd infantry Division NCO academy. Spring 1981 Good times.
How are you my Brother? I see you haven't uploaded in a while. I hope you are well. I was stationed in Kitzingen also.
My father was stationed there in 1963 and my mother came along and lived in Kitzingen. Thus I was born in Wurzburg army hospital. I wish someone had pictures of Kitzingen in 1963.
Good. Very good 😊👍
I never tire of watching this. Reminds me of club drills in school long ago. I play it again and again to get the movements right. Thanks again and again.
You've got quite the skill. Would love to get in contact and talk juggling sometime.
Very nice video. brings back memories. The security fence behind Harvey Barracks is no longer there. We used to hike across the field to go to Beeno's Guesthouse, best Hungarian Goulash ever!
I was there in the btry b, 6/52, from 8-69 to 2-71 , in the generator section,52b30.
I too was stationed in Kitzingen, but much later in 1983-84 & have many treasured memories, including inside the Frankinsher Hof & Akropolis, both of which are shown here. I also had a lady friend a block from there. I loved Germany & always will!

I was stationed at Harvey Barracks from 4/30/60 until 1/13/63, it seems President JFK wanted our services as long as he could keep them after the Berlin Wall went up and we were all happy with that. It truly was a great time to be part of that beautiful area. I was a specialist 5 assigned to Comany E, 1st Med Tank Battalion 68th Armored Battalion, Armored support to the 3rd Infantry Division. I am mow 74 and still kicking even after a tour in Vietnam in the 11th ACR. FOR God and Country Forever

I was with the 31st Medical Detachment Aug 1979- Sept 1982-- Just like the Lorelei, Germany cast a spell on me. It is always a pleasure to see videos and pictures of Kitzingen and Franconia. Thanks
it looks like magic... she is so fluid and makes it seem effortless.
anyone remember a guy named Mac Roden?
I lived in Heidelberg/Mannheim Germany when I was a boy my father was stationed there with us army in 1966 I was 6 years old at the time my mother is german and had family near munich Germany in Bavaria i miss it much
Boy, that's pretty wild. My father was stationed in Kitzingen from 59-61, we lived there when I was 9-11. My mom was originally from Stuttgart so we all spoke the language...was a great time. Get this, my dad's name was Bob Macdonald. There's a Bob MacDonal in the video on the Fasching float but I don't think it's my father...will have to see if one of my kids can blow the picture up for me so I can see it better. Would be wild if it's him. Thanks for posting.
147th Maint Co, Larson Barracks Jan '92 - Aug '98, European out and finally left Nov '05. This really got me yearning to go back.
