Don't know if you've noticed but Australia is flat so you can have as many rest stops you want but here in nz we have a.lot of mountains so it's not so easy digging out thousands of tons of dirt to make a rest stop
Haha yes, Australia is a bit more flat for sure 😃. Australia didn’t have that many rest stops, but they are really good at putting signs up like in 300m, 3km etc. New Zealand actually has lots of rest stops, but we kept missing them because of the lack of signage on the road. To be fair, there were lots of beautiful rest stops with signage around Mount Cook and Lake Tekapo, which we will show in our next video!
How did you find parking the van when visiting city’s and popular beaches?
Parking in cities is always tricky, even more so with a longer vehicle. We decided to stay in campsites near cities that has public transport to city centre, this worked perfectly for us in Canberra, Sydney, and Brisbane. For beaches, most of the time we booked the campsites at the beach or within walking distance, but in general beaches are easier to find parking for larger vehicles. To view all campsites we stayed in, check out our blog about our 4 weeks road trip from Melbourne to Cairns: couplenomads.com/ultimate-guide-australia-4-weeks-road-trip/
Hey guys! What time of year would you recommend this trip!? We like the heat ;) Also anything you regret or would change for your trip?
Hi there! Good question. It depends a bit on where you want to go in Australia. We arrived in Melbourne in November and it was still cold (we had to go to Kmart and buy warmer clothes). By the time we reached Cairns in December it was super hot, too hot even for us after living in Dubai 😂. Keep in mind that the peak season is during summer holidays (December-February) and rental prices will be higher during this time. To save money you can look at going in November or March. We drove from Melbourne to Cairns in 4 weeks and it felt rushed, it would have been better to do it in 5 weeks. We also didn’t book campsites in advance and we couldn’t visit some places that we wanted to go to because popular campsites during weekends and peak season get booked up early so try to plan that ahead of time. Let us know if you have any other questions :)
Such cool stuff thank you guys
Where planning the same trip, How long was your stay? Any recomendations on campsites locations? Ty for the info
Hi! We spent 4 weeks driving from Melbourne to Cairns and honestly it felt a little bit rushed, 5 weeks would have been better. We list all the campsites we stayed in on our blog, including how much we paid, you can check it out here: couplenomads.com/ultimate-guide-australia-4-weeks-road-trip/ Hope you have a wonderful time on your road trip. Let us know if you have any other questions ☺️
Thanks a bunch! I totally forgot about gettng an international drivers license. Going in a week so just in time :D
Glad we could help! Enjoy your trip!
Hi thank you for the nice Video :). How is the internet connection on don det? i need a good internet connection for my work
Hi! For being an island, the WiFi was pretty good, but not sure how fast it was. We’d recommend booking a hotel with WiFi and stay in the “city” near the port as you are more likely to have better signal there. Enjoy Don Det ☺️
Very nice guys
Thanks so much!
Where in Nong Khiaw do we go to book that boat? Is it a tour agency that runs the slow boat to Muang Khua?
Hello! We took the boat from the port next to our hotel which was called Arthith Guesthouse, it’s near the bridge. More info can be found on our blog: couplenomads.com/nong-khiaw-ultimate-guide-boat-to-vietnam. Hope you enjoy Nong Khiaw ☺️
Gorgeous work guys, views are stunning! Wow, simply wow!
Thank you very much! Saw you make hiking videos, looks amazing too! And you’ve been to Sweden 😍 (Emmelie is from there). New Zealand is stunning, if you haven’t been there and you love hiking you definitely must go! They have some really incredible hikes. More coming in our next videos 😄
Love you laos from india Bombay
👍
Thanks🙏
I hope you have a lot of money to continue your travels…
Thanks 🤙🏼
thanks for sharing it was really helpful. just a quick question I am planning to go there Saturday morning and plane lands at 11am. also my return will be 4pm on Sunday. is it enough or shall I need to make it like from Friday. I mean I can arrive there on Friday and Saturday morning I can start to walk early morning and I can have a full day. what you think?
Hi! It is possible to do Angkor Wat in the timeframe that you have, it all depends on what you want to see and how much time you spend in each temple. The ticket office is open from 5am to 5.30pm. If you buy a ticket after 4:45pm it is also valid for the next day, which could be an option if want to see the sunset at Angkor Wat on Saturday and then go to other temples in the morning on the next day before your flight. Note that some temples open at 5am and others at 7:30am. Hope you have a great time in Siem Reap and Angkor Wat.
@@CoupleNomads thanks a lot good information at all ❤️🧿🌿
Amazing trip. Can you share hotel or bnb during your trip ?
Hi! You can find more details of each place we stayed in our blog: couplenomads.com/ultimate-guide-united-kingdom-10-days-road-trip/#Where_to_stay_on_the_road_trip_budget_hotels We only mention places that we have stayed in ourselves and that we can recommend to others driving around the UK. Have a great trip! 🚗

Yo~so good upload-
Its usually worse weather in Scotland than England, both are generally poor ofcourse.
Right! We were so lucky with the weather when we were in Scotland ❤️☀️
Do restaurants in Vang Vieng still play whole Friends seasons on TVs there? (or any other TV shows?)
That is a funny question 😂 To be honest we didn’t watch any tv when we were there, we were out on adventures most of the time 😊. But I hope they still do that, I love that show! 🥰
Welcome to korea ~~*^^* 😅😅 I highly recommend you 속초 and 통영 city and mt. 황령산 in Busan ~ good luck ~!! 😅😅
Great recommendations. Thank you 🙏
Thanks for sharing
Great info TY
Thanks for the video! Really helpful and has encouraged us to try this route. Does the boat from Nong Khiaw run everyday? I've heard it is dependent on number people travelling
There’s no regular boat but they will go if there are enough people, we do remember someone mentioned minimum 4 people but they will take 2 people for the right price. Just need to sign up the day before at the pier. We do not recommend if you are running out of time in your visa to speculate with this boat, keep yourself couple of days extras.
Wonderful informative video ❤️ ❤️❤️love from India my friends ❤️next year in may i m going to visit philipins 😀 someday travel to India my friends ❤️
Hi guys ....a lot of destination all around Indonesia , the islands such as java bali lombok sumbawa flores in one lines may be take 3 4 months traveling time , enjoy the trip n keep safe n healthy

I just found my Adams Bar t-shirt from 2012. Good to see it is still going. Been there, Don Det.
Wow that’s amazing! It must have been even less touristic back then! Amazing place Don Det, we will go back there for sure 😊

Sorry to hear that you didn’t appreciate our content. Oh well, we can’t please every viewer. If you want to, you can share “what a good vlog” is to you ☺️ we are always open for feedback to improve ourselves.
the „bad“ experience you had in the manila is on you. do some proper research!
Yea we agree we didn’t look into it much as we only planned to stay one night. Took us by surprise a bit, but definitely we were in one of the less touristic areas.
Sorry to say that's the way you think about your stay a day in Manila....know more if you stay a couple of days as they said it's more fun in Manila and 13 nearby cities 🙂🇵🇭
We are certain that there is more to Manila and nearby cities than we got to see, our friends said the same but we didn’t have time to explore that this time. Unfortunately we picked our one night stay in a less touristic area and didn’t have a great experience, would definitely go to the capital and around that island again some day if we get the chance 😊
better book a hotel around makati or bgc if you’re in manila just sayin’
Thanks for sharing that, would definitely look at that if we go to Manila again 🙏
Lol. No wonder u barely get views. But the way u portrayed manila was completely wrong. 1 night is not enough for you to make that conclusion.
Sorry to disagree with you and we really appreciate sharing your opinion, perhaps we just ended up staying in a rough neighbourhood. Maybe you would like to share some thoughts about Manila for our fellow travellers watching this.
@CoupleNomads deffo, you could have stayed in makati and bgc, which you would have found to your taste.
Manila is not really that good compared to other ASEAN capitals. Just respect their opinion about our country.
❤❤❤
I really enjoyed the video of your trip ro Korea. All is lovely. Thank you for sharing. 👍 Warm regards, 🌸🌸🙏🍀
