Pagan or Prog Rock? A fun interview with Spriggan Mist at The Soundle Peterborough on the 2nd July 2024. Not enough Bluetooth mics to hand around so some of the sound is low plus my gimbal attached to my phone had a mind of its own! An interesting and fun interview with ‘the new kids on the prog block!’

Maybe it's because I'm Canadian, but I'm getting a big early "Rush" vibe, from like "A Farewell to Kings", and "2112" era. I'm getting up there in age myself I'm 58 and fortunate enough to be just freshly retired, (I'm like day 3 into my retirement). I have played off and on in bands for the last 35 yrs. but was in a traveling band in the 1980's playing for 5 solid years on the road. We did fairly good, enough to finance a 3-piece band and a 4-person crew for those years and although it ended nasty, overall, it was an experience I am EXTREMELY grateful for. These guy's make me want to get back into it for a while... Why not?? I've got my chops still so I may as well do something I love. Don't even care if I get paid now ... lol ...
Great story, thanks for sharing and why not do something you enjoy in your retirement year and beyond! I’m almost retired (November this year) and l’m doing this channel now! I couldn’t wait! 🤗
Saw the McMahon brothers "Haze" in Peterborough a few times in the Early 1980s Excellent memories Once later saw them in Sleaford, Lincolnshire too.....
Still a great live band and with a new album due out soon still very active and touring regularly!

Thanks, yes it was noisy inside the venue and just as noisy outside! Before l got wireless microphones!
