When Lea, trapped in a sea purse seine, escapes and discovers a plastic bottle containing her own umbilical cord, she unlocks a mystical connection. Throughout the plastic bottle, the colors of the sea become a portal to her past, connecting her with her mother and uncovering the truths of her birth.

Sharing a piece of our documentary film where we tell stories through food has been a deeply personal and emotional journey. This is my first time opening up like this, and I'm proud of what we've created. Working with Ralph, Lynn, Juliette, Merched, and Omar, we each shared our own unique stories.
