The Structure of Crystalline Solids
Просмотров 83 тыс.4 года назад
An introduction to crystalline solids and the simple cubic, body-centered cubic, face-centered cubic, and hexagonal close packed configurations. Special acknowledgments to XKCD creator Randall Munroe, as a primary inspiration through his illustrative, engaging teaching style and because I borrowed elements of his style in this video. I am in no way affiliated with the company Nintendo and have ...

I am speechless, this video covers in 20 mintues what 3 weeks of lecture tried and failed to teach me. I really thought this was some big materials science channel i somehow had never seen, the quality of this is so good. Everything from the amazing art to the great jokes, and even just the way you explain this really complicated and annoying topic in such a straight forward way is beyond impressive. Sorry if I went overboard, I have been comfused by this topic for ages and seeing it summerized so well feels sureal. I don't know if you have any interest in science education, but you have the potential to be an amazing teacher if you ever want to make more videos like this.

@@redhairshanks9491 thank you! It is always wonderful to get feedback on what (continues to be) a passion project. I am planning on expanding this into a series once I finish up my pHD, perhaps with a release in the relatively near future.
