Just saw the Philly show. Great! Arnel was very welcomed by the crowd. He's the singer whether or not you like it. Embrace it if you are a fan! None of us could sing like Arnel. He refreshed the band.

Arnel is himself and should not be compared to anyone. You try singing the lyrics.

Like so many bands from the 80’s they are stuck between the real thing and a great tribute band. Journey without Steve Perry, Styx without DennisDeYoung, Foreigner without Lou Graham, and so on and so on. Its a good show to see, but the ‘magic’ is gone..sorry..

Has anyone ever made a one hit wonder song last as long and keep the royalties rolling in like Donny Iris and Ah Leah! ???

I love those clips in the background from "Journey - Live in Manila". I've been a Journey fan since 1980 and completely respect Steve Perry. But can you imagine where Journey would be today without Arnel Pineda? Arnel's simply keeping the legacy of Journey AND Steve Perry alive, and he's been doing it now for 17 straight years.

Not a big Journey fan....but THIS song is fire...love it.
