anyone scared of sharks in croatia now, there hasn't been an attack since 2008, and there has been a huge decline in great whites and makos since then, and there have been 26 attacks since the mid 1700s, making it almost impossible to even see a shark, nevermind get attacked by one. don't worry
@@alfiedaws06 You're wrong. I just had my friend take a look at the video and he also agreed that it's an orca. And I trust him because he graduated from high school in the top half of our class.
This one is to small yet, he's about 2 meters, they eat only middle size fish while they are that size, that people in Egypt were attacked by Longimanus-white tip which is one of the most agressive sharks
I’m sure the Mako shark is the fastest swimming shark, they also have a bloody big set of razor sharp teeth. Great white, Tiger and Mako are my favourite shark species.
It is amazing to see footage of large sharks in the Adriatic Sea, which was the normal habitat of many large sharks years ago - before overfishing made them a rarity. This has - somewhat - changed in the last few years, mainly because of stricter environmental laws (and the implementation of those) and a more rational perception and relationship to these magnificent animals. The Adriatic is absolutely fascinating and one of the most unique seas of the world in many ways - and the more spectacular sharks FINALLY are coming back! Please don't fear them, at least here - look for the last serious shark attack on coastal swimmers in the Mediterranean and you will know what I mean ;) It is so unlikely, you can't even put it into words ...
Lol fuck that advise. Even though it's very rare it always can be you who will be bitten in half by GWS in Adriatic. Until recently I never knew GWS were present in the Adriatic sea. Now I am very cautious when swimming and not going far at all.
The growing number of reliably observed large sharks in the Mediterranean Sea within the last decade - specifically, the shortfin mako (isurus oxyrinchus) and the great white shark (carcharodon carcharias) - makes me more than happy. Finally, we see at least some kind of return of the natural macro-predators of this region to this area - which were completely normal and common years ago in this part of the world, before the relentless practice of overfishing them and their prey had almost extirpated them all in the latter half of the 20th century ... Save the sharks! Nobody will suffer for it - they are not that abundant yet and have no seal colonies here ... save them ! Whenever you get the chance !!! They make Europe that much more beautiful!
you have no idea what you’re talking about , Mako and Great White are not and never were in Adriatic, only shark we have is Modrulj , this is Adriatic Sea not Mediterranean Sea, Adriatic Sea is not and never was their natural habitat…
Still people are scared of sharks but If you compare the number of people swimming in the ocean and actual accidents with sharks, you understand that sharks are NOT those creatures from the movie, who attack everything they see. Also, if you analyse the main reasons for accidents with sharks and the circumstances during that moment, you understand pretty quickly how to behave. Mirky water, swimming alone, swimming far offshore, ect. is never a good idea. You have to understand that sharks are curious about almost everything. They will swim by, strafe you with their fins, to understand what you are and if you behave like prey, the will testbite. Its just common sense that humans don't belong in the ocean, but if we go for a swim, there are rules and risks we all have to accept. I wish people would see the beauty in things this planet has to offer and how important it is to understand nature, instead of believing everything hollywood tells you.

Yeah, there is a high likely hood that you get killed at your next swimming session. (But probably first will a guy crash frontal into you on car street.) I think it's a blue shark.
You're getting slightly confused due to the water being beautifully blue
@@taopaille-paille4992 no no, I recognize the shape of the blue shark (in italian is Verdesca)
Why is this mako and not young great white?
Because he was seen many times that year in that area and filmed and scientists confirmed it's a juvenile mako.
