​​@@aatiqsproduction I'll write you a very small book for it, read it if you like. Chapter one: Aerodynamics. Ever seen a parachute glide or a Frisbee fly? That's aerodynamics, when a large flat surface (the wings) is in the air, it's harder for it to fall (if the flat part is up/down). This is because in order to fall, it would have to move the air under it. Moving the air under it takes a few seconds to move all that air. See those sections of the wings that are moving? Those are called wing flaps. Those are parts of the wings in which move the air up or down, making the plane rotate. Those are used for two rotations. They can move the nose up or down, left or right. These are on the wings and rudder (wing on the top of the plane in the back). There are separate wing flaps for this different rotations, some for up and down which are usually on the tail wings. The one on the rudder is for steering the plane. Those ones move the plane left/right along with some on the wings which rotate the plane, helping it steer. Do me a favor real quick, grab a piece of cardboard and try to swat the air around you. You're gonna feel the air resisting the cardboard. That's aerodynamics. Chapter two: Thrust. The airplane needs a way to move, there are a few ways of doing this. I'll explain three main engines, being: Jet engines, Propeller engines and rocket engines. Airliners (the type of plane seen in the video) and private jets have jet engines. These engines are made up of a few processes. First, the engine suck up air from in front of it (which is why birds can get sucked in). Then, while the air is inside the engine it is compressed. Next, it gets mixed with fuel and lit with a spark. This causes the air to explode out the back of the engine causing the airplane to move forward. Next up: Propeller engines. These engines are simple. They work just like a fan. They are made up of a few wings (amount can vary, usually from two to five). These wings are not attached flat onto the engine, instead they are at an angle (for reference, look at a fan blade). This forces them to punch the air in a direction that depends on which way that are rotated and angled. That causes the plane to move. Lastly: Rocket engines. These engines are used on fighter jets. They work by throwing tiny molecules at high velocity. Doing this by mixing a ratio of fuel and oxidizer together, then burning the mixture. Chapter three: Other details. Aerodynamics doesn't just stop there. And aerospace engineers job should be admired (they make airplanes, rockets, car bodies, robot bodies, and maybe more). When making an aircraft, you have to think of wether or not it can fly. This is done by testing designs with smaller models of the same design. The wings keeping the plane up gives the plane what we call lift. Moving the wings will change the center of lift. There is also the weight. The center of lift should be as close to the lift as possible. This allows the plane to not fall. Also, if the plane was to lose a wing, it could result in an extremely fatal crash. This is because the center of lift would be off, causing the plane to rotate uncontrollably and, if unlucky, crash. That's all I have for you. Hope you enjoyed it, although it is a bit long.
