I'm not the biggest fan of strive, but man, this was totally perfect! I loved the new design (although I still prefer the old one), and the gameplay seems really fun, a mix between normal and ex slayer moves. Pure dandyism!

Thanks for some routes. I need to start labbing the PB routes from non CH dandy follow ups. This + vortex mental slack + gatlings make slayer really degen in strive lol
I'm on the grind to hit these routes on real matches, Im almost there! XD
@@randomvitor340 yeah hitting them is pretty rough in an actual match. i usually prefer the air routes like that one you inspired. i think these non ch are useful for those potential pdandy crossups when they're respecting the dash crossups too much but the mental slack is start adding up

Thank you my friend! I love his combos, damage, new design and supers. Only thing I'm really struggling as a legacy slayer player is the lack of a strong backdash XD
@@randomvitor340 legacy slayer player here too, its definitely sad its gone, but you also have a new forward dash with kara potential to make up for it :) not all is lost
@@zenheretic that's true, kara mappa and kara bite are great (although I can't do kara bite on the ps4 controller at all!XD)
As an oldhead slayer main, what do you think about slayer left right from 2D knockdown? Are they weaker? I think that’s the funnest part going for him in strive since giving him gatling make the high low vortexs even scarier but you need to like cS otg then dash cancel to make the guess for games begin
I really like the cS otg into dash mix, and I really like how he plays overall. My favorite thing are the pileloops! Only thing I dislike coming from XX and XRD is his backdash XD

is this the first instance (across all guilty gear games) where slayer can actually ToD chipp with 0 risk?
Not at all! He can totally explode chipp with the right hit in reload and AC for sure XD

Its all about practice! XD (But for real, there are way harder combos in +R, slayer is kind of a middle ground, got some easy stuff, and some hard stuff)
This makes me want to religiously play accent core again
