ETOSHA NATIONAL PARK, NAMIBIA: Day trip to NAMUTONI Rest Camp (September 2007)
We took a day trip to Namutoni Rest Camp from Halali Rest Camp. The camp is in the far eastern portion of Etosha National Park in Namibia.
We stopped to enjoy a quick picnic at a picnic spot on the way and enjoyed exploring the camp which is built into an old German fort.
The camp has two restaurants, a shop, gas station, and pool. The accommodation is unique.

The camp has a nice restaurant and its own waterho...

Okaukuejo Rest Camp is located in the south of Etosha National Park in Namibia. The camp's best feature is its waterhole which is floodlit at night. The Common Blue Morpho butterfly may appear to be ordinary at first glance when its wings are raised, but when it is flying or basking in the sun to warm up it reveals beautiful iridescent peacock-blue wings. The blue coloring of their wings is due to the wavelengths of light reflected from their wing scales. The butterfly is common in South and Central America, as well as the West Indies. They...

For me personally, these majestic raptors signify strength, beauty, freedom, and strong family ties. A pair of eagles will always return to the same site to nest and breed year after year. Females lay 1 to 3 e...
