Morality, Diplomacy, and Power Dynamics: Courtesans of India
'These courtesans were artists who were carriers of the nation's enormous history, creating cultural movements by their strokes and the turnings of their wrists. At the core of the institutionals values of courtesans lay a deeper, divine purpose of uplifting the mundane world of mortals, allowing them to envision the bigger picture.'
Madhur is the author of the bestselling book ‘Courting Hindustan,’ published by Rupa Publications and has been hailed as one of the leading Odissi dance masters of his generation. The Indian Express has lauded Gupta as ‘one of the few male artists (in a field mostly dominated by women), who not only p...

Music Makers in the Gramophone Era: The Women on Record Project 'In the beginning many artists had an inhibition that acoustic technology, or later the microphone, could secretly siphon off all the goodness and power of their voice, just as 'making soup out of meat and vegetables robs them of their nutrients!' The Unknown Story of the First INA's Espionage Wing. 'The story of the Indian National Army (INA), and its secret espionage wing is relatively unknown. @@energylinesavtech4397ji The leftist eco system had fabricated so many stories about him and we were taught and brainwashed that Ashoka had renounced "Himsa" and started practicing and preaching AHIMSA, after the Kalinga war ,where he had killed Kalinga soldiers in Lakhs. But the fact is that after embarassing "Boudha ideology, and after 5 years, he had invaded Kalinga during that war, he had inflicted the Lakhs of soldiers death. Having the Pillar &; emblem on as signs, was created once again by leftist who were in ruling under the disguse of the Congress.

It is not clear why the historian in the middle has said that Vishnu is not mentioned in the Vedas ... he is mentioned in five different places in the Rg Veda, and iconically in his three strides across the universe

The naturalistic frame from which the interpretation of the Gayatri was presented by the gentleman in the middle presents the engagement in worship as being quite simplistic; only being based upon fear rather than on any deep reflective cognitive or feeling capacity to reach for the infinite. Can we really think that those people were that simplistic that they only made such sophisticated pronouncements based upon fear?

Wonderful listening to Manu Pillai weaving together so many factual details into his speech, exposing India's royalty, their excesses and their exceptional talent to play one off against the other, and who still to this day, continue to perpetutae the mystique that surrounds them. The speech was presented in one easy flow. However , most of the audience had a pained expression on their faces ....wonder why they were there at all!!! How much of the information that Manu had shared with this disinterested crowd, had percolated into their collective consciousness?
