i really want to make a comic, but I'm so scared of making one and it ending up being as hated as this comic is... I never read it so i have no idea if it really is as bad as everyone says it is
some people like it. some people find it cringe. you can’t avoid hater. no matter how good your comic is there’s still some people who’s gonna dislike it. but it goes both way. that’s why this comic (boyfriends) is still on webtoon though it’s popularity go down overtime. even anime, asmr, kpop, vtuber many people find them cringe but they’re still doing well. what i’m trying to say is don’t be afraid of hater. if you wanna do it, go for it. if you never tried you’ll never succeed.
if you’re really scared of it. you can try overcome it a little bit at a time. maybe post your drawing in some kind of artist community, ask them for feedback and advice. i found most of them really friendly and supportive.
