I started having contractions at night , which continued on through the morning I showered, cleaned and all. My boyfriend asked if I want to go to the hospital I said no because I’ve gone about 5 times and it was nothing. They ended up getting more intense and decided to go and within an hour, I was already pushing. This was my second baby , but I didn’t know what was real labor because I had my first at 28 weeks with emergency induction

My first was born on my birthday. Our third baby is due this spring, the day after my husband birthday so we shall see

Congratulations he’s beautiful. I cant relate to such long labors and delivery. My girls were both 3 1/2 hour labour/delivery combined.

I went to the hospital at 36 weeks cuz I was having contractions, got to hospital and was 4cm dilated. (They knew I was 36 weeks) The nurse came in and said we want you to stay and have the baby and they put me in a room and gave me a epidural just to come in hours later and say they are sending me home. Not to mention the person that gives the epidural was training someone and I didn't find out until later that the trainee was the one who gave me my epidural. It took 10 minutes when I got it done and was painful. I was pissed when I found out. Also was mad at the fact that it was their decision to keep me and put me thru the epidural process. Just to get sent home and come back and do it all over again. I couldn't walk on my leg for two days either.

I love that your momma was there to support you. I wish that my mom were the loving and supportive type. I am her only daughter and there are so many things I would still love to do with her, but she pushes everyone away and now doesn’t even pretend to try. Congratulations to you both. He is beautiful. Perfect in every way. I had a very similar experience during the birth of my youngest. The NICU team came in and resuscitated her. While they were working on her, a team was working to stabilize me. Everything was in slow motion. Time literally slowed down and I had tunnel vision staring at the team working on my daughter. All I could hear was my mother in law repeating breathe baby breathe. It seemed like it took a lifetime to hear her first cry. Once she was okay, I started improving. I got several miracles that day, just like you. God is great!
