For Ricardo you want to try to redirect his attacks with Ishmael if possible, and attack him while he has, "Challenge of a big brother," or whatever, since in that state he takes more damage(?) Basically, divert, attack, rinse, repeat till he starts spamming MY COUPOOOOOOON, in which pray that you survive.

@@8pierrot89 tbh before i got into sekai i didnt even know the songs that i liked were in there/commissioned for characters in that game like there were no comments abt it and anything actually mentioning sekai were on the sekai versions instead of the actual producer

just wondering, what team did you last attempt ricardo with?
I used basic ishmael Id with hong lu's k corp Id. I tried going for a stall team but that hair coupon skill literally obliterated both of them 😔
@@smiling_squid sorry for the late reply😅 but theres a pretty big flaw with trying to tank ricardo with hong lu, hong lu with base EGO is wrath fragile(he's also wrath fragile in half of his total EGOs), in which 3/6 ricardo's attacking skills are wrath 😭 so i really would just suggest not using hong lu. one tip i could give is to switch up base ishmael with 2* lccb manager ishmael, she has aggro which will help in making ishmael the main dmg sponge, cmiiw but the reason she will only not die is if there is another ally still alive. a great unit to pair ishmael with like other ppl suggested is 3* nclair, you can either borrow him from someone or shard him. other great picks to borrow are 3* dieci meur, 3* lob. EGO spider ryoshuu, or 3* lob. EGO regret faust <--- these three and nclair are blunt resist THO if you wanna play risky you can use/borrow 3* wild hunt heathcliff, super high dmg agaisnt ricardo and his goons, but blunt fragility. shameless friend id promotion (i have all the units i listed except nclair) D631703838

@@smiling_squidHi sorry if I might be annoying but how's the progress? The new Ishmael (Zwei Ishmael) has a really insane defense skill that can clash, so if you're still stuck it'll definitely help. This the least I can do from one Yi Sang lover to another...
@@starrite no worries! I actually managed to completely beat Ricardo and all of canto 5 so I’m no longer stuck. Still thank you for the advice, Ishmael’s new ID does look interesting but I don’t know if I need it for canto 6 (and onward) So I’ll just keep it in mind when I need a good defense character.

Pro tip for Ricardo: Use NClair. He's blunt resistant, deals blunt dmg, and using him to tank for a turn to build up paralyze for a self-destructive purge is also a strategy. Also make sure to save your nuke skills for when he has his 'Test of the Big Brother' Status, it makes him take double damage. Outside of that, just take ID's with strong blunt nuke skills, like Nclair, Reindeer Ish, and Erlcliff (funny horse do 500 damage teehee). Wish you luck with paying for Heathcliff's hair care!
thank you for your sugestions! I didn't have Nclair but it seems I have to start using my crates for the femboy. and yes, paying for heathcliff's hair care is going as expensive as it sounds....😓
