I have seen all the comments about how bad this performance was. First time listening to anything from this night. Cmon man… it’s NOT bad enough to justify all the negativity!!! This is coming from a singer who still plays in an 80’s tribute band in Tampa, Florida. I know how demanding it can be!! Arnel deserves only praise after 17 years of singing Journey songs. Estuve en ese concierto, los primeros 45 minutos fueron solo ruido que luego se fue arreglando, las desafinaciones del frontman eran demasiado notorias, talvez un exceso de conciertos.. De hecho en este video se puede apreciar las exigencias vocales de Arnel. Los ultimos 8 temas fueron los mas conocidos y se escuchaba mejor, Aun asi me quedo con la solides de Deep Purple.

Arnel is clearly struggling here. He's been doing this for 17 years now and people forget that a voice is the singers instrument. If he's not feeling well or over used his voice it affects his sound, tone and the kength if time he can hold a note. Its almost like he cant get his breath either.
