I own a 2015 XG750. Sold my 1999 XLH1200 Sportster. I hate my new seat, want a new one, but unsure what is the best option for me. How tall are you guys? Just for reference, compared to the bike. I heard 6 footer. I am 5'7". Do you think that seat and forward controls would improve the comfort?

Hey Buddy. What is the size for the allen key. You mentioned 24 and 17 mm wrenches but not the allen key size. Could you please let me know.

Probably a dumb question but you 2 gentleman may know. But that little plastic piece inside of your gear shifter lever that then hooks onto your foot peg . Do you know that that piece is called ?? I need another one after my wreck it broke a bit when my gear shifter broke off .. it’s like 1 inch or so long.

I cut the welds and started pulling but with all my strength, a mallet with a piece of wood, and some WD-40 I can only get the baffle to come out about 4 inches. what else can I do?

So helpful - thank you! I got hit by a car and it wrapped my rear brake around the pipe. Wasn't sure what all had to come off to get the pedal itself off - now I know. Deeply appreciate you putting these two videos together.

Street 750 fuel pump isn't priming fully and when does runs for 15 mins and dies if you pull the fuse and put it back in does same thing

One clip I replaced with a jubilee clip left the other alone, so in the future just remove that. I used an artery forcep to clamp on the pipe (stops one side) have an 8mm pipe running into a spare tank ready , pull pipe off and put the 8mm on the outlet quickly a towel catches the bit of gas. Remove forcep point attached tube straight into spare tank. I just needed to see how to unclip the main fuel pipe......Thanks.

So did you install an aftermarket pedal? It looks a lot better than the factory one.

You 2 old "codgers" are a riot to watch! You may lack a bit in the finesse dept, you make up for it in the "what you see, is, what you get" in being unrehearsed and by "the seat of your pants"! You're VERY educational to new riders wanting to know how to do maintenance/repair work on their bikes to save some money! Don't change your style, it shows we can all learn new things.

Hi Aerial, I note that you say you connected it at first and it was reading half revs. How did you initially connect it? I have bought a tacho which I have connected to one of the front coil but get no revs whatsoever? How did you connect both lines to one signal cable?

when you connect the battery charger, the motorcycle's right turn light turns on. Any idea why it does it?

I bought a cheap 12-volt electric fuel pump from Amazon. Mounted it onto a wood board, and plug it into the 'battery tender' plug to power the pump. With a couple of fuel hoses attached, I pump the fuel out of the motorcycle and into a fuel can on the floor. Quite amazing that the Harley engineers still use that external cross-over hose (also used on their big-twin engines too). Long overdue for a re-design.

Great video’s very helpful, was thinking of putting the same handle bars on but have a 2017 model with ABS so will need to change front brake line, was just worried about bleeding after as I have read that the ABS module needs to be reset?
