bottleneck... about 120 fps with high drops at game. I have a i5 10400f and a rtx 2080super too

I would recommend the upgrade, it's worth the performance

I would just stick with Intel, because you will need to switch mobo and ram

@@texfu Amd is definetly the way to go right now. He couldnt even stick with Intel because the Mobo doesnt support gen 10 and above intel cpus. So either way he would have to buy a new mobo. But i still wouldnt buy the ryzen 5 7600x right now. Maybe if he had like a intel 7th gen cpu i would upgrade to ryzen 5 7600x. 7600X doesnt give that big of a boost compared to 9700k. I would go for the 7800x3d its a lot more but its totally worth it. It would be kinda stupid to buy a new mobo, ram and the 7600x for a 20-30% fps boost (it would cost $500) So totally not worth it. And 1 or 2 years it would again in the same position as the 9700k right now. (Not worth it to go for the small jumps, go for the big ones) For example dont go from 3060 to a 4060 Ti. Upgrades should unlock a new world not just make your world a little bit bigger.

I have a 7600x with an RX 5700 XT lmao, some people use their PC for other things than gaming as well, always better to have a GPU bottleneck than CPU bottleneck too.

@@VojtuZs_PCBenchmarks_do you know if ram could be an issue? I got 16GB at 3000MHz while you got 32GB. Rest is similar to yours, rtx 2080 with 62MHz OC and i5-9600k clocked from 3.7GHz to 4.8GHz. Thanks mate!

@@grimreaper5232 I would say the problem is your CPU, with a 2080 I would highly recommend at least a i5 12th Gen or i9/i7 11th Gen. Also check out tutorials on Process Lasso to further improve performance :)

@@VojtuZs_PCBenchmarks_ thanks! Found out I was running a different version of cinemark. Also that these chips just run hot no matter what. I went ahead and undervolted the cpu and temps are a lot better. Still too hot IMO but AMD said the chip could run at 95C all the time and be fine. Also updated the mobo and got some new settings which were helpful.

I score much lower than that withe the 7600x its 621. Only one post online about it and no other info. Someone said I might have a bad/fake chip.

@@MerchwithDan wtf? 🥲 I just checked my box and scanned the QR and says it's legit. what cinebench version are you using? Im using 2024. but I guess it doesn't matter?

@@MerchwithDanHey bro I tried using R23 and got the correct score. My score was 13611. Issue was I was using a different version which was 2024 and those 2 versions produce different results.

İt can be because of the thermal throttle limit of the CPU

Type in RUclips how to enable PBO and lower temps for Ryzen 5 7600x. Follow the video exact and Input the same settings and your score will increase.

In multi core it’s not supper to clock to 5.4 because that’s based on silicon lottery and most 7600x chips including mine will only get get around 5.2ghz at all Cores. It only gets to 5.425 in one single cores.
