I glued on bone frets and tuned the notes to Kirnberger III. The frets start off wider and the tuning is done with a carving chisel . Basically it`s wiggly frets but the wider straight appearance makes it look easy . Sounds nice . Use Evostik on a flat surface . They can be moved or removed using a thin spatula heated by a soldering iron .

Meanwhile my Harley Benton Tele arrives with perfect Fretwork and nice setup for 109 € xD

I use my jewellery cleaner for small cleaning and it works wonders. I don't use the same cleaner obviously, but it works great as long as it's not rust. For the most part just a little distilled water and dawn dish soap works. Make sure you dry the parts afterwards.

This is just restringing and tuning. No adjustment of truss rod, bridge, or action to suit the musician. And the assumption is that all frets are level, which I would certainly hope they are on a Martin.

I played a scallop fretted guitar years ago and thought it was really fun, keep meaning to do that to a guitar but haven't. This looks like a way better ideas. I've refretted a couple of guitars so I will have to look at doing this
