      Thanks for watching video and your questions. Excellent monitor, 32" size is perfect for my needs. I mainly use it with my Mac Mini M2 for video editing and Photoshop projects. It's HDR10, not HDR600, so keep this in mind, if you are looking for more brightness and vibrant colors. There is an HDR600 version but it's much more expensive.

    Hi, have you successfully created enough milk foam for latte or cappuccino, please share a frothing milk. This machine makes good espresso but can’t create enough milk foam.

    • @TeosTake
      @TeosTake 15 дней назад

      Hi! Thanks for your question and for checking out my channel/watching my video. I agree, the Gevi EZbru 1000 makes great espresso and can steam really good frothy milk. Just make sure to purge the steam wand into a cup before steaming. I use regular milk (D Milk) and always make sure it’s straight out of the fridge, not room temperature or warm. Additionally, after every steaming session, purge the machine by running hot water through the steam wand to clear any milk sucked in. These steaming tips apply to any machine, regardless of the brand. If you're already doing all these steps, I suggest contacting Gevi for a replacement or repair. The machine should be capable of strong milk steaming. Hope this helps, and please let me know what happens!

      Hi, thanks for checking out my video! I used to use a small spray bottle with my Baratza Encore ESP, but I haven't tried it with my DF54 yet. Static around the chute usually only happens when it gets clogged. Otherwise, it tends to stay fairly clean and static-free.

      I agree, that's why it's called a high extraction basket I guess. I highly recommend using paper filters both on the bottom and the top of the puck during preparation. It slows down the extraction a bit.

    Good video... I have a question. Is the grouphead material metal? The part where the three tabs of the portafilter insert, is it metal? Because I saw a video a long time ago where someone was talking about a GEVI dual boiler machine and mentioned that the grouphead was plastic.

    • @TeosTake
      @TeosTake Месяц назад

      Hi! Thanks for checking out my video. It's a big YES! Every part, including the group head, shower head, and portafilter lock, is made out of metal. I believe it's stainless steel or a similar colored metal, definitely not brass. I use it 2-3 times a day, every day, and so far I am very happy with it. Hope this helps!

      Thanks for your question! The Normcore basket has been performing excellently for me. I use it several times a week alongside my IMS Competition basket. For my DF64 grinder, I set it to 8 for medium-dark roast organic Sumatra beans, and 8.5-9 for organic dark Nicaraguan beans. I prefer the Normcore basket for back-to-back brewing sessions because of its fast extraction speed. Feel free to ask if you have any other questions!

      Thanks for the compliment and for checking out my video! This is a high extraction basket, so it comes down really fast. I grind very fine when I use it. I also have IMS and Bomber baskets, which are more traditional and don't require an ultra-fine grind. I like all three of them; they bring out different flavor notes from the same beans, which I really enjoy.

    I just purchased one of the bambinos the other day with the bottomless filter and just about dialed in. Your unit appears to be struggling to pull the shot as it just drips, (too fine try coarser). Also strive for the ratio 18-19g beans to 36-39g out within 30 seconds. Also, the preset settings on the unit for a double shot will use way too much water (60g) and dilute the shots. You will need to customize it and use a scale to ensure it pulls the correct amount of liquid and stop the shot. Keep playing with it as you appear to have all the right tools, just a little fine tuning.

      @@12Gavv I never tried 18gr with this one. I don't do 18gr. at all, too much for me unless I am drinking out of a larger cup with lots of milk. They must of know something we don't know. Maybe they don't tamp, they just level it. I don't think my machine will produce enough pressure to penetrate at brew setting 5 grounds. 16gr is my sweet spot on cappuccino, 10 gr is my double espresso.
