What's any of your illiterate, Bible-despising, Christ-hating raving got to do with your false, extra-Biblical, Christ-despising claim that Peter is the rock upon which Christ builds His Church? The Bible nowhere states that Peter is the rock upon which Christ builds His Church. Even you know that, which is why, being the Bible-despising Romanist you are, your only resort (which is worthless) is to appeal to the claims of your "pope" of Rome on behalf of your "pope" of Rome, since you know the Bible will never help you sell your Christ-blaspheming claim. And then, tell us which Bible verse you imagine tells you that Peter did not have both his names 'Simon' and 'Peter' from his parents, from birth. Repentance of sins is the first doctrine taught in the gospels and reiterated by Paul. 2John says don’t even wish you guys Godspeed. Think on that. “Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son. Is this why Jesus said the men of Nineveh would rise up in judgment? Because they started believing? Or did they lament, mourn , and cry …. They fasted… they quit sinning! ( you know that pesky” cleanse you hands purify your heart, lament and mourn and weep” thing( James 4:8) This is the very thing Paul preached ( acts 26:20). Proven by…. *gulp*….works!!! The old man must die! ( romans 6, gal2,Col 2). One does not quit sinning gradually… he dies once and for all and then salvation comes( 2 corth 7:10)

@@dougtibbetts857 I’ve never met one human or read a book from a saint that overcame all sins at once. Peter sinned after being filled and baptized. Hebrews says,”lay aside those sins that easily beset you”. I would like the meet the person who never sinned once after being converted and needed zero process. “He who has suffered in the flesh has ceased from Sin” Why does the Bible speak about suffering to overcome sin? I’d love to meet the person you speak of. Most who claim it that I have met were some of the most wicked humans I ever met in my life.

Never sinned like Paul with internal covetousness. Never looked upon a woman with Lust. Never thought self better than another. If what you say is true the Bible could be trashed. Where did I say repentance will save you? I never did. However you can't trust in Christ until you first change your mind (repent)about your sin. Jesus said in Luke 13 "unless you repent, you will perish." This is a short clip from a longer video I made on repentance.

I understand what you mean but what i am going to tell you is that when repent is used in salvific statements in the bible. It is always used as a change of mind to believe jesus is the messiah. Jesus is speaking about jews who dont believe who he. You are correct as well we do need to change our minds about sins. But the false gospel comes in when we begin to preach TURNING FROM SIN in order to be saved. In christiadom today the word repent is used incorrectly.

Acts 3:19,20 " God, having raised up his servant, sent him to you first, to bless you by turning every one of you from your wickedness.” Acts 3:26 "Bear fruit in keeping with repentance." Matthew 3:8 "Also many of those who were now believers came, confessing and divulging their practices. 19 And a number of those who had practiced magic arts brought their books together and burned them in the sight of all. " Acts 19:18,19 "testifying both to Jews and to Greeks of repentance toward God and of faith in our Lord Jesus Christ." Acts 20:21 Repentance doesn't save you but repentance is shown real in our actions. Confessing your sin but not parting ways (turning away/forsaking) with it is a false repentance. God sees our heart and that is what matters to God. And our works will evidence whether or not we really repented. The fruit (action) of my repentance doesn't gain/earn my salvation. It simply evidences or validates if I truly repented in the first place. It's the same principle "Faith without works is dead". Works don't save (Ephesians 2:8,9) but it does shows wether or not I believed in the first place. Abraham was justified by faith alone in Gen. 15 when He believed God. But His works of offering his son Issac in Genesis 22 validated (proved true) that he had a genuine saving faith. Him offering Issac didn't justify him but it did prove he was already justified. The works validated his faith. Repentance is the same. Its proven real when we turn from our sin. If no actions are shown then I have a dead repentance.

Sir you are preaching a works based doctrine. We do not turn from sin to be saved. We turn from sin because we are saved. There is a big difference in Jonah 3 10 it clearly states turning from sins is a work. Ephesians 2 8 and 9 are very clear. Also let us look at when paul and silas spome to the jailer was repentance mentioned....no. or when philip spoke with the eunuch was repentance mentioned no. In the gospel of john (the only gospel specifically written to the unbeliever) the word repent does not show up once. But the word believeshows up 98x. If you are preaching that any works need to acompany jesus perfect work FOR SALVATION then you are preaching an accursed message. Now should we turn from sins. Of course we should. I also love how people bring up the book of james lol. If you read the whole book you will see james affirm that he is speaking to ALREADY SAVED people telling them how we justify ourselves to the world not god. Brother you can not add works to jesus attonement. But like i said we should absolutly turn from sin to be seen positively in the world and to please god. But it is not a requirement for the saving part.

But chapter 1 Paul is laying out all the spiritual blessings for the saints in Ephesus (vs1). The spiritual Blessings are for those who are "in Him"(Christ) with that phrase "In Him" being mentioned some 10xs in the first 14 verses. And I was specifically focusing on vs.4 which tells us that one of the spiritual blessings for those are who are in Christ is that we are chosen to be Holy and Blameless. Our election as believers has to to with Jesus being THE ELECT ONE (Isaiah 42:1; Luke 9:35). Since we are placed into Christ by faith (vs.13), we then get the beautiful spiritual blessing to become Holy and Blameless. We become Elect in THE elect one. His identity becomes our identity (Romans 6:3). Just as Romans 8:29 says "those whom He foreknew He predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son." And all these spiritual blessings were decided by God before the foundation of the world for those who would become in Him. Biblical Election has nothing to do with God choosing who would be in Him. Nobody is "in Christ" before the foundation of the world. Only Jesus existed before the foundation of the world (1 Peter 1:20).Biblical Election is a title/identity that believers take on when they place their faith in Christ and its also a spiritual blessing they recieve of what they will become (to be holy and blameless). Anyone can become in Him and therefore chosen when Christ draws them to Himself.

@@breakntruthministries9143 I know what you’re saying, it’s just wrong. Romans 8, just like Ephesians 1, is where Paul is explaining the blessings that have now also come to the Gentiles. In each case it was already taught for centuries that all of the blessings from God had been given to the Jews through their ancestors. Now, those blessings have also come to all the Gentiles through adoption through Christ. And we can see that this is true and that your explanation of biblical election meaning God is only electing some people is false if we keep reading. In Romans it’s chapters 10 & 11, where Paul is teaching that ALL people are part of God’s elect, are invited to his kingdom, not some, in places like 10:11-13 and 11:32. In Ephesians it’s chapters 2 & 3, places like 2:11-16 and 3:6. Paul is not teaching about election that God elected SOME he’s teaching that terrible theology was wrong all along, that God elects ALL.

You totally misunderstood what I explained. You need to re-read it. I never said God elects people for salvation, i said the opposite. Anyone can be part of Gods elect (Jew or Gentile) by putting their faith in Christ because Jesus will draw all men unto himself (John 12). That word "chosen" or "elect" is buzz word for reformed/calvanist Christians to mean Jesus irresistibly saves people. That is not at all what I am saying. Elect is a title given to believers because they elect in the elect ONE (Jesus)when they Beleive (vs13). You need to ask the question "what are we elected for?" The verses says "...to be holy and blameless ". Our Election is tied to what will become (in the future) for those who choose on their own volition to trust in Christ when the hear they gospel. I am not a 5 point calvinist, I am the complete opposite. A believers Election is unto our sanctification/glorification. When we believe in Christ we are then chosen to be Holy and Blameless. The verb (chosen) is tied directly to the infinitive (to be holy and blameless). God did NOT pick people to be chosen for salvation before the world began. Election has nothing to do with God chosing us to be saved. I don't know how you don't see the point Paul is making in Ephesians 1:1-14 that spiritual blessing are only for those who are "in Christ." And Jesus is THE ELECT ONE. This is called corporate election. Yes Paul is writing to gentiles who were outsiders but now through Christ they too can be part of Gods family. Yes, it is a blessing for gentiles now that Jesus tore down the dividing wall of hostility. But even for Jews in the OT, they were not truly elect unless they had faith in the true and living God (Romans 2:28,29). It's crystal clear. I think you when ypu understand Jesus election and that when believers become "In Him" we too become elect unto sanctification/glorification.
