The Bible was never meant to be confusing. The problem is so many people don't know how to interpret it correctly. If you read the Bible in its proper context, you can understand the meaning. God is not hiding himself. He truly does desire all people to be saved because He shed His blood for all mankind (1 tim. 2:4, 2 Peter 3:9; 1 John 2:2). God brings understanding to the nonbeliever as they seek Him so they can have the opportunity to get saved. The verse you quoted in Mark 4:12 was in reference to the Jewish people at that time who had become hardened towards God due to their own self righteousness and ethnicity. The Jews thought they deserved salvation simply because they were Jewish. And they thought they could earn salvation by trying to keep the law of God. So Jesus is revealing himself as Messiah to His people (the Jews) and His people reject Him and His message (John 1:11). This makes Him terribly sad (Matt. 23:37). His message was that salvation is given by grace and needed to be received through faith (Eph. 2:8,9).But after a certain point of God constantly trying to get His people to believe while they persistently reject Him, God allows them to have what they want. God will not force His way in our lives if we don't want him. So Jesus started to preach in parables (riddles) so "seeing they many not see and hearing they may not hear." Jesus explained the parables clearly to His 12 disciples but left the rest in the dark. Why did He do this? One major reason He did this was to ensure His crucifixion. 1 Cor. 2:8 says "None of the rulers of this age understood this, for if they had, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory." If the Jews at that time clearly understood that He was the Messiah, they wouldnt have crucified Him. So therefore he could never save the world from their sins. Also Romans 11 gives much insight to why God allowed the Jews to be left in their hardened state. God allowed the Jewish people as a majority to stay in the spiritual dark, so that the door to the Gentiles could be opened for them to be saved and in the Gentiles getting saved, the Jews would become jealous. And in their jealousy, the Jews would hopefully repent and put their trust in Christ. "And even they, if they do not continue in their unbelief, will be grafted in, for God has the power to graft them in again. " Romans 11:23. Please.study Romans 11. In conclusion, God is not hiding himself from lost people. He is a loving Father who deeply desires everyone to know Him (Luke 15). But if the sinner constantly hardens His heart, God eventually gives them over to their unbelief and they sadly seal their fate.

He is not trying to brainwash the kids. I personally dropped out of high school because I was being pushed and agenda of the LGBT community, which I do not believe in. I know for a fact that there are going to be people in that room who are mad that the teacher did this, but I'm glad he did. If you can force me to go to a school and learn about the LGBT community which I believe is a sin, he should be able to exit his beliefs as well. If anyone is the hypocrite it is you for believing that this man is in the wrong. If they do not believe what he is saying then they can choose to ignore it. This man is extremely brave and I am proud to say I stand alongside my Christian brother. Have a nice day God bless❤

Also note that this man is not a teacher he was asked to come to speak to the kids, because unlike some of those materialistic matters that schools try to cover religion is important. It is the foundation of the world you stand on.

@@ThatSouthernBrunette I understand that he isn't a teacher, that honestly makes it even worse as he shouldn't even be there in the first place.... When you say "materialistic matters" what are you referring to? Religion is not the "foundation of the world." Modern religion especially.

@kyleglenn4132 Materialistic matters= putting your life before others. Teaching kids in school that abortion is always an option if you don't want the kid is sickening. All this man is simply doing is teaching kids good morals. Even if you don't believe in our heavenly God you can hopefully (if you're willing to admit) agree that the moral values that Christians have are amazing morals to be teaching children.

Also, yes the foundation of the world is based on moral religions. Everyone believes in something, that is the whole reason people act or live the ways they do. They may not believe in a specific religion but people have beliefs. Without beliefs and morals our world would not be. Morals and beliefs are what keep people sane.

Hi, thanks for responding. You said a 21 week old "fetus" would live with complications... do you know what the Latin word for fetus is? Fetus is defined as "offspring". It's amazing that if someone keeps the child it's called a baby and if they decide to kill it, it's called a fetus. As if it's something else. Life starts at conception, not perception. In the words of Dr. Seuss "a person is a person, no matter how small." A baby in the womb has a beating heart as early as 17 days old. A question I have for you is when is it OK to kill a baby in the womb? The reasons you gave to have an abortion are all selfish reasons. Many people are born with physical or mental deformities, why would that give anyone the right to murder it in the womb? Are mentally or physically handicap people less human or valuable because of their deformities? If the mother couldnt take care of it then give it up for adoption as there are thousands of parents who want to adopt unwanted children. Hi, thank you for your comment and question. Christians are NOT sinless. However, and true born again Christian should sin less than they used to. A follower of Christ has the Holy Spirit in them which gives them power to obey God and resist temptations to sin (Galatians 5:16-24). But there are times Christians fall into sin and must then confess/repent so there relationship with God and others is restored ( 1 John 1:9; 2:1). This process is called sanctification or growing in Holiness. The apostle Paul as a Christian struggled hard with an unnamed sin and was very frustrated by it (Romans 7:14-25). But Paul knew that Jesus was his source of victory over his sin struggles. In this video that you are commenting on, I am addressing the true believers identity that is in Christ. Romans 6 talks all about this. The moment a sinner repents and trusts in Christ, they get a new identity. The old sinful nature is crucified with Christ and the Holy Spirit had made them alive spiritually (Romans 6:6; Galatians2:20). They are no longer a slave to sin but a slave to righteousness. So if a Christian struggles with drunkenness, the step 1 of Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) is not true for a Believer according to the Bible. Step 1 of AA makes you state that "hi my name is... and I am an alcoholic. " That is so not true for the Believer because he has already been set free from alcoholism the moment they got saved. One definition of addiction is "enslavement" with the root word being slave. Like I stated earlier a Christian is no longer a slave to sin but to God.

Thanks for the reply man. I worry about my salvation and if im truly saved because i struggle with alcohol and i actually enjoy the drunken state. But as a believer i know i should also hate my sin which i do. But simultaneously i love it also if that makes sense :( thanks again brother

I don't know if you are subscribed to this channel but every Monday (tonight) at 7pm pacific time, I teach a Bible study for men and I stream it live on this channel. Feel free to join and watch. The Bible does say sin is pleasureable for a season but the wages of sin is death. There should be a brokenness over your sinful habits and true repentance shown in your actions (Read Psalm 51). I encourage you to get plugged into some mens group or Christian (biblical) based counseling or group for sinful strongholds. A question I have for you is when did you become born again?

@@breakntruthministries9143 I believe it was 2019. I told God I'll live for Him and pursue His will. I do think I am indwelt the Spirit but alcohol seems something I don't fight enough against.
