don’t even try to eat solid food for the first week. eat pudding, refried beans, jello, mashed potatoes, applesauce. i personally don’t recommend ice cream since my mouth would get really cold from the fact it’s cold. also, if your orthodontist gives you an expander as well as brackets at all, be careful when eating and messing with it. i would wiggle my expander slightly the first couple days, and it would hurt a tad bit. just be careful, eat soft foods, and talk slowly to get used to the metal 😊
