one has to have a light foot on the accelerator to keep the revs below 2000 rpms. it accelerates with alacrity, surprisingly so. it rides pretty decently over the roughest pavement i could find. big bumps punch through but as though under a layer of padded rubber. the interior quietness [aside from a somewhat vocal engine on acceleration] is lexus-level. seats are so so, lacking lumbar support and somewhat hard. no squeaks or rattles over some pretty rough kansas city roads. very low levels of NVH. expensive however, they hold their resale value pretty well meaning this working class person is less likely to get one.

I was able to test drive one of these. It drove nicely and was comfortable, especially for a big guy like me (6' 4" and 325lbs) but unfortunately I was not a fan of the transmission. At normal city speeds the engine never dropped below 2700rpm, the highest being 3000rpm. That is crazy high for what it is. Other than that I liked it. Just wish they were more reliable.

You know your stuff Alejandro. Appreciate the walk through. We actually have a fully loaded 2023 Summit Reserve with V8 (without the black out package). Coming from a 2021 BMW X7 M50i we absolutely love this vehicle. The Germans made things so tech heavy that it actually became more complicated to try to interface. For instance the electric buttons for the second row on the BMW were a nightmare. Very slow operation and one press of the wrong button put you in a pickle while loading. Ughhh. Drove my family nuts. Jeep got it right. Just give me manual operation of the 2nd row for third row access. We also LOVE the night vision with all the deer here in PA. Huge McIntosh home audio enthusiast and great to see them introduce a reference system for the first time in the American made jeep. So many things to like about this vehicle. Great you tube vids on the 5 star crash rating with all those air bags deploying during a collision. On a side note I drove the six cylinder and it was underwhelming at best. I would not own this without the 357hp/390ftlb 5.7L V8. Of course I'm coming from the 523hp/553ftlb M50i but it was too much HP for my wife. Honestly the only two things I miss are the horsepower and the soft close doors of the BMW...and maybe my heated and cooled cupholders. But those are first world problems as we say. Not the same engine as the Compass. The Renegade has a 1.3L 177 hp engine and the Compass has a 2.0L 200 hp engine both 4 cylinders.

when I press remote start twice without pressing the unlock button, will it unlock the doors?

I drive a 23 promaster the only cons I got is cupholders are all the way down- is not biggie but is not comfortable either. also I'm not a big fan of electronic parking break but is nice just to put it on park and automatically will put your parking break.

Speaking of comfort,how comfortable are the guys in the back seat?We took 4 people in a mustang and we were miserable in the back seats.

These are actually AWD, using the GKN AWD system that Subaru also uses. The Cherokee, Compass, & Renegade use GKN systems. The Grand Cherokee, L, and Wranglers having true 4WD systems. Much of this is explained on the Jeep website under Jeep 4x4 Systems.

Paying 50 to 60 grand for a Jeep is just ludicrous, just not worth the money but my man thinking he selling gold.
