Well, weak performance by our national team which, again, was totally lacklustre in the attack. Glad this was just our first friendly before the World Cup so we can learn that: 1- We need Bryan Ruiz, as he absorbs the pressure of the defenders, making some holes for the others to attack. He is our captain for a reason. 2- This goalkeeper isn't bad, but Keylor Navas is way better. Hopefully he will be against South Korea and Chile. 3- The goal was Junior Díaz's fault. Bryan Oviedo is better than this guy. 4- Diego Calvo only works when he enters at the second half. Christian Bolaños uses to be in the 1st half. 5- Jonathan McDonald had almost no presence. It's clear that our better Forwards are Saborio and Campbell. 6- There's a very young forward, John Jairo Ruiz, 19 yo, who plays for Lille OSC. I think he can be better than Campbell. He's been given some minutes with his team. I hope he can get at these next friendlies and then go to the World Cup. 7- I expected a better match from Australia, but there's no problem, as they're rebuilding themselves with a new coach. Even with that they still managed to win lol. Both teams have a lot to improve, specially considering they're among the weakest teams.
