How to Get Your Horse Thinking "Soften"
Hello 👋👋❤❤❤❤
Very beautiful ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Good information from ?
@@gulamnabikureshi1211 hi, are you asking where I got the recipe?
Very helpful
I'm glad! Thanks for tuning in!
THE SEMITENDINOSUS IS ON THE OUTSIDE, THEN THE SEMIMEMBRANOSUS 😊
@@dianesamp9102 yep, semimembranosus is medial
@@AndreaEggert SORRY I FELT SO BAD TO POST BUT I THOUGHT I WAS LOOSING IT LOL ....I STILL STUDY ANATOMY RELIGIOUSLY & I HAD TO LOOK AT MY INFO FROM SCHOOL BECAUSE I THOUGHT I WAS WRONG. IN STUDY I MADE IT EASY TO REMEMBER BECAUSE IT WAS CLOSER TO THE "TAIL". I DIDN'T MEAN TO MAKE YOU FEEL CORRECTED LIKE I KNEW MORE. I THOUGHT I WAS READY FOR SHADY PINES OR SOME GINKO BILOBA LOL☺️ I WASN'T TRYING TO BE RUDE.
@@dianesamp9102 not at all! I always remembered as "Membranosus is Middle"...the two "M's"
Good video - but a little too short :) Could you make a new one, talk a little slower, and also show/put on a good saddle pad? Best regards from Norway
Thanks for the input! I can definitely put a more detailed video on my list coming up
GREAT SHARE AS ALWAYS!! 🐴👐🙂
Thanks!
GREAT SHARE....STILL STUDY AS A CEMT ☺️👐🐴💗
thanks! Good luck with your studies!
HE SURE SHOWS A SWEET DISPOSITION & DEFINITELY RELAXED. THE EYES & LICK/CHEW, IS THE BEST 🙂🤍
I AM A CEMT & JUST NOTICED THIS ON A HORSE I WAS MESSAGING AFTER OUR RIDE. A TIGHT RHOMBOID & ALSO AS YOU DESCRIBED ON THE SCAPULA & SVC. THIS NOW MAKES ABSOLUTE SENSE & HE WAS FAR MORE COMFY POST HANDS ON. 👐☺️🤎
I'm glad you could relate with your work! So glad he was feeling better afterwards too!
ME TOO, BECOMING A CEMT IS THE BEST THING I COULD HAVE EVER DONE. YOUR EXPLANATION WAS PERFECT!!! @@AndreaEggert
I hadn't thought of the befefits of adding the On Guard Concentrate... great idea!

Great description!
Thanks!
Are there any essential oils that should not be used or are toxic to horses?
There are "hot" oils that need to be diluted before applying to skin, as they're more likely to cause topical reactions (Cassia, Cinnamon, Oregano, Clove and Thyme). There are some oils that are to be avoided during pregnancy for mares. If you need that list, let me know! You also want to be sure to only use certified pure tested grade oils :)
@@AndreaEggert Thanks! Any that are toxic to a horse?
@@jessicagiesbrecht8643 not to my knowledge, as long as they are pure oils
What can I use to give my horse more energy
Peppermint or Supermint essential oils are good choices for energy and focus. Let me know if you would like to give these a try! I'd be happy to help!
@@AndreaEggert thanks so much I would love to try it I have a more cold blooded horse and we run barrels so I’m looking for something natural to help her
@@kentucky-barrelracer Great! Below is the link to my site. You can order these oils directly from here! Let me know if you have any questions as you go through: www.doterra.com/US/en/site/andreaeggert1
@@AndreaEggert ok thank you so much
@@kentucky-barrelracer of course!
Can clove oil be added to water for horses to drink? How much clover can a horse have?
You technically could, but I personally would go with putting a few drops on a treat if you're wanting them to ingest the Clove oil (again, be sure you are ONLY using CPTG (certified, pure tested grade oils) especially if ingesting! The amount is 1-2 drops per 500 lbs of weight. If you do go the route of adding to their water, be sure that they also have a bucket of water with no Clove oil in it so they can choose.
ESSENTIAL OIL THERAPIST HERE TOO & TOOK HERBAL BLENDING CLASS AS WELL. I'M WANTING A SPRAY BLEND I CAN USE TO MIST MY HANDS WITH BEFORE A MESSAGE. I GOT GREAT RESULTS EVEN WITHOUT OF HORSES GETTING IN THAT BLISS ZONE THAT'S SO REWARDING TO KNOW YOUR HANDS DID EVERYTHING RIGHT.
You could try using AromaTouch for this? This is a Doterra specific oil blend, but works wonderfully for soothing muscles and creating calm.
Hi I have an old mare that has developed arthritis and I’m trying to find a more natural way to help her with any pain she may have was hoping you may have some recipes using oils that could help and would be safe to use on horses?
Hi there! Yes, I'd be happy to help you with some recommendations. Please email me at eggertequine@gmail.com and we can discuss further. Thank you!
Thank you for an easy approach to the thoracic sling muscles! I'm helping to rehabilitate a horse that would need to get this muscle group engaged. Would you do a video on exercises from the ground that would provide a natural lift of the withers?
I will work on getting a video together. Thank you!
If the horse is resistant to these stretches, would you just do a more shallow version until they are able to release and stretch deeper? (many days and sessions later, of course.)
yes, if they're tight and not used to stretching out, that is what I would recommend! Granted, if there is a medical reason that they can't be stretching, you would want to ask your vet before beginning a stretch routine. Hope this helps!
Yes very interested!! Thank you 🇦🇺🤗
Glad you enjoyed! Feel free to email me and we can discuss your questions :)
Great video - very useful...just one suggestion - you should think about getting a better microphone - the audio on this video is kind of sketchy....
Thanks for the tip!

How long can tape be left on? Would it cause DOMs?
Typically, I recommend leaving the tape on 7 to 10 days if possible. Can you clarify DOMs?
@@AndreaEggert well by how long the tape is left on that answers the question on DOMS. DOMS is delayed onset of muscle soreness
