Just as a guy who doesnt live in NewYork would randomly start speaking with a NewYork accent If you did grow up in a place with mostly african americans, then aave would be something familiar to you. I am writing a paper on Aave in rap, and so i got curious when this popped up in my recommendations.

dumb question, but could I use your last reply in my paper on AAVE in Rap? I think it illustrates perfectly the underlying importance of authenticity and with it street cred that is essential in Rap and HipHop overall. I cannot offer monetary compensation as I am merely an undergrad student myself, but I'd of course link this video and your channel as a source
