Too many people are showing up at the lake now and ruining the experience because it is too small for so many visitors. They don’t know the rules like no alcohol, no wakesurfing which causes such large wakes it can turn over other boats because the canyon is so narrown. There are way to many kayakers that can get hurt by the boats. They were never allowed on before, only 35 boats and the house boats that are moored there. So please stop coming if you aren’t a local. It ruins it for the few people who are actually allowed on there!!!

I remember a program that was offered to us back in 97-99 called MTRC. It was a summer school church program. Most of the kids were Cambodian and lives around Manchester. It cost very little and meant to enrich the youth. I’ve never seen such riff raff in my life. None of the kids showed up except the days we went on field trips. The disrespect from these kids. I even remember one of the teachers trying to talk to one of the parents after dropping them off in the Manchester neighborhood because of his behavior and he came back with a gun. Do better Stockton. I don’t think that program exists anymore.

You spent time in the American River and I would have liked to see Lake Clementine and the dam. All of that would have been under water if the Auburn Dam was finished.
