Fundamentals are better in mk1: ( pokes are punishables, anti air...). But mk11 is definitly more fun: flawess counters, no kameos, no homeländer or weird shit

Game wasn't perfect and story mode was straight up ass, but I had a lot of fun on mk11

I cant stand "cameo" fighters in any game. To much going on on the screen and also if i NEED a cameo just to juggle and pull off a half decent combo, im out. I also miss the x ray combos that you got after meeting certain conditions. Mk 1 graphics are really good tho, such a shame. Mk11 > Mk1

One thing I really love about MK11 are the stage interactions, it makes every stage way more intersting

MK1 Gameplay is more versatile and each character has all their moves already equipped. MK11 is still fun and got me through Covid.

I just wish MK1 had a mode like towers of time. invasions is so boring. MK11’s towers of time gave me so much fun, especially considering i’m too bad to play online. that’s all you can really do in MK1

I was excited for mk1, and when it came out, i was generally disappointed in how it came out. Rain was my favorite character to play in mk11, but he's so bad in mk1

MK11 just looks so much better that's why many of us like it more. Moves sets of characters are also cooler. Otherwise if we remove cameos MK1 does some things better like meter is normal and air combos is cool and the breakaway is not fckd up

Comparing Shangs possibilities in the two games alone shows the immense depth of mk1. There’s just so much room for growth even still. Rolls break aways crushing blows are all terrible. I loved flawless blocks though.

ngl i haven’t touched MK like that since MKX and MK9 ( i had 11 but never played it) this MK was disappointing especially when i load up deception on my 2 decade old ps2 and have way more to do on there

The expansion is not good, but nothing comes close to the gender bended male characters....That certainly contributed the failure of the game! I do, however, think WB should give the game one last cahnce and let them release another, wokeness free, DLC pack though

Nah deadass the reason is because they made it too different in a negative way and my main example is they neutered Scorpion bad. Like they didn’t just leave it at his story, his actual moveset is completely trash and for me of all people to say that about my MAIN repisses me off about the game every time I play it 😂 Making Kuai Liang Scorpion and then it turns out only HE can happily marry felt like unnecessary disrespect and the fact Subzero is his actual brother this time made their dynamic more cliché than anything else. Gameplay wise it feels way too slow, the normals are spammy and the juggles are spammy since they’re specific tie ins.
