This channel is created to promote the Genuine American Pit Bull Terrier by sharing over 120 combined years of wisdom and knowledge on the breed. My father owned the breed since 1925 and I owned my fist in 1979. This channel will showcase Ordonez' Kick Start, call name Zephyr. This breed, in my opinion, is the best dog breed on the planet. Unmatched temperament, health, durability, desire to please, intensity, drive, athleticism, and love for humans. This is the Genuine APBT!
GAME BRED PIT BULL AS A PET? WHY???
There are many who say an APBT is only a good dog when he is in full and intense function mode and the bred will disappear if it is only a great pet. I don’t agree. Look at the video and see why.

RAW FEEDING IS NOT ALWAYS BETTER

I still think raw feeding is better than kibble! But in some cases, and with some dogs, kibble can be more beneficial. Be humble enough, and mature enough to recognize when you are wrong, and make adjustments for the sake of your dogs health.

This is maple two days ago. She looks conditioned with no conditioning at all and only four months after dropping a litter in October. We love this dog.

This is a video showing Maple one month after having her puppies. She looks like if I conditioned her but in reality I did not. She is just a high strung dog that is always moving. Genetically she is the kind of dog that is great for conformation competition. It doesn’t take much to put her in shape. This time she did it on her own lol.

This is a Rhonda. She is a beautiful female pup from the Zephyr to Maple litter. We might keep this dog. We are still open to selling her to the right person. Since we might keep her, we are starting to train and socialize her early. She will be our house dog.

Wow, thanks for this info! we had a Amstaff who passed away, so we decided to rescue one, we were told she's an amstaff pit mix, but her body structure is more game, and she has more pit attitude, like Maple she is still a pup, 1 year and 8 months, sad part the first 7 months of her life she was caged for 10 hr a day, we've had her for about 7 months now, and she's doing much better, she now has structure and a routine, still some issue with aggression, the person that had her was just supposed to babysit her when she was 2 months, but they never came back for her and he was going through stuff and had no time for her plus he owned a pit and a chihuahua, he could never walk them together aggressive chihuahua always started fights, we notice small bite scares around her face, slowly shes learning to trust us I'm looking into putting her in a sports training camp, I'm here in LA and like you, I understand the issue, with ignorant people, do you know of a place I can take her so she can get a good workout, I live in a condo so were limited to outside training

Game ness is exactly what makes these breeds dangerous and it is absolutely false that they will not redirect this gameness on to humans, they are the leading types of dogs in fatal attacks on humans including infants and children every single year because of their gameness. Gaming this is not about loving people or wanting to do a good job and perform for them, gameness is self reinforcing and as purely about loving to attack and bite things. This is why they do it when there's no one around, they do it when their owners are beating the hell out of them trying to get them to stop, and they continue doing it after they've literally been shot and tazed by police. There's no altruistic motive behind gameness it is just pure bloodlest and these dogs do not belong in society. Every single day they're busting out of windows pushing through doors and pulling leashes out of their owner's hands to go attack something. There is 0 reason to have a dog with this type of genetics in society because bulb bating and barabating and dog fighting are now illegal. There are plenty of high drive dogs that don't have the genetic traits that pit bulls do that make them dangerous there's nothing beneficial or uniquely good about a pitbull that other breeds do not have yet there is plenty that is uniquely bad. If I could snap my fingers and eradicate all catch and grab dog type genetics from the planet I would. So sick of hearing about people's cats, dogs, elderly folks and kids getting murdered by these neurotic, violent dogs.

Hey I just put a deposit down on a pup for first pick of the litter. I was planning on breeding. What are some traits you look for when choosing pups?
Is it bad to feed them chicken with the bone?
@@KestinTolai I’ve raw fed for years and never had a single issue with the bone included. The key is “raw” never cooked. Cooked bones can be brittle and possibly cause choking.

Every dog is different in how it takes and responds to diet, rest and exercise. On top of that, you have to train according to what the goal with the dog is. Great how you touched on the dog being obedient while training. This is a great way to train without treats. Keep getting your issue.
I like the wole base concept. Do you think tri-tip is cheapest beef? do you use organ meats?
Glad you like it. Yes, sometimes tri-tip is the lowest priced beef sometimes it’s something else. I do add liver, heart (if I can get it) and chicken gizzards. Thanks for watching.

I agree, that’s the ideal situation if your dog is an all around pet or you’re competing for obedience. I’ve done that with other dogs. Military K9’s and Law enforcement K9’s don’t recall with one command. That’s not what they are used for. Maple was not trained to recall instantly. So in fairness to her, I can’t expect that.
How much time do you believe it takes on a daily basis to keep a game line pit content, healthy, and happy? Walks, variouse exercises, running, mental training, etc. Thank you for your opinion!
3:00 I totally agree, I switched over from working line Shepherds and Malinois to game line pits.
I've yet to see anyone have a pit bull that has basic ass obedience training and can actually walk the dog without it pulling the whole way LOL
