I haven’t read the manga yet, cause I don’t want to suffer with the rest y’all. But I’m pretty sure if Meruem bothered to learn the intricacies of nen, like ren, make his own hatsu abilities, etc. You wouldn’t be able to kill him with a nuke anymore. And if he arrived at the dark continent, he’d only have to eat it’s creatures to become that much stronger. In essence, Meruem is the closest being in hxh who can solo the verse.

But let's be honest though, if I was one of the others being blamed he would've done the same. He was the ring leader and the reason that the bulliyng started to being with. He only told on everyone cause he got caught and tried to take everyone with him.

@@Marker09jwi ueno didn't blame him, It was no secret that it was him. Ueno actually tried to make what Shoya did not seem as bad when the teacher ask her about it. When Shoya said it was everybody she didn't deny it either, she seemed shocked that he told on her though. The reason the teacher had tto call Shoya out was because of the hearing aids.

@@Marker09jwi she didn't blame him, but she didn't defend him either. The teacher already knew it was Shoya. The reason they the adults confronted the class was because of the missing hearing aids. Yes she did tell the truth about Shoya bullying Shoko but that was because the teacher already knew, "and even then she tried to make it seem less serious than it actually was". Miki and Kazuki are the ones who out right blamed him not Ueno. When they are older, she apologize because she knew they were all guilty and she sat back and did nothing while he was being blamed.

So this anime is about a deaf girl named "shoko" that got bullied by some of her classmates and it goes from just mocking her to physical, until one time shoko was just sitting reading and the black haired boy "shoya" that got accused of bullying her, pulled her hearing device that actually attached to her piercing so when he pulled it, he's actually ripping her earlobe at the same time and it's bleeding. So it got to the head master and that's how we end up in this scene

He bullied a deaf girl named Shoko. But the entire class was actually encouraging him and the teacher did not cared until Shoko's mother pursued legal actions. Then everyone put the blame only on the boy. Shoko changed school and he was bullied by the others tirelessly, making him understand how horrible he was toward her. It left a lasting impact on both of them. Several years later while they are in high-school he reach out to her. He plans to apologise before jumping out of the edge of flat earth (if know what I mean) because he hates himself. And the rest of the movie is about them learning to be friends and heal from the past.

​@@orelliaorellia142good summary, but the class didn't actually in courage him. The bulliyng didn't start until he decided to and there were times where you hear the other kids tell him "don't you think your going to far."

@@keenanjackson2668 Some yes, but other kids, especially some of his friends complain loudly about her and how she hinder the class and bully her as well. The are just more hypocritical and sly about it. The only one in the class trying to help her, Sahara, is also bullied for it (not by Shoya) and skip the rest of the school year. I own the manga and I know that the movie skip part of the story. Maybe it was not as obvious?

@@orelliaorellia142 I have read it also, although a while ago. For instance I know the choir scene I the movie was before Shoya started bullying her and was caused by Miki. Yes I remember everyone talking about her being a burden but I don't think they bullied her they just pushed her away. The bulliyng didn't really start until Shoya started it, I fact if I recall Ueno didn't really start bullying her until she saw her cleaning Shoya's desk in the manga when he started get bullied. I am kinda putting movie and manga logic together so I might be forgetting something or arranging thing wrong.

I mean, he isn’t wrong tho. Yes, he was the main bully, but the others were in on it too.
