Dead Homies - Low - For Balls
A profoundly underappreciated contribution to the annals of film.
Dead Homies.
I was paralyzed from the neck down
It ain't no thing though
You know
I'm braced up
It ain't no thing
But i'm on my feet
I'm strapped, today, every day
Not even caring
I go to church, I'm strapped
When I say hi to moms, I'm strapped
When I go buy pampers, I'm strapped
That's the way it is
For all my dead homies
You know
When I go see my homies
I go put flowers on their grave
You know
I gotta take a AK
Why is this?
For my dead homies

The above is a cover of a Coldplay song in the style of bluegrass. This content is not mine. Nothing is mine. Everything is Coldplay's, and whomever owns Coldplay. Despite the fact that nobody really "owns" anything. But be clear, this is intended for you to go to Coldplay concerts and to see that bluegrass band that covered a coldplay song extremely well. Thx.

Hey uh..ya homie dead..
Where u from???? Nicca where u from??Ohhhhhhh Okayyyyy
I remember i dropped wanted to be about anything after the big homie passed. He was my tio practically he was a close family friend but he was a teenager when i was growing up so i grew up with him. He was a piece of my life and like most of my family he was runnin the streets. Wasnt any banger or anything but ya know if ur in the hood affiliated or not if u wanna be outside ur bound to see or get into the mix of sum shit. He was with the wrong crowd and ended Oding and left for dead. Shit broke me i never felt pain like that before i never wanted to again. But death is inevitable even to the young. I seen people come and go now i have a little one of my own now aswell and i feel him. I dont want my son out here tryin to do sum cuz seeing my homies and family pass is one thing. But seeing my own person that i loved and care for pass before me is something i never wanna see
Who passed this dude low? From watts
This interview and the documentary shows the degradation of the African American male pathology and why he would always remain at the bottom of the American social hierarchy. He works overtime to keep himself there. This is why even African immigrants avoid interacting with African Americans. This toxic culture.
Fuc em they gave us away anyway 😐
This is what Martin Luther king and Malcom x fought for?
Life is life homie
The bang ganging that was done in the late 70s and 80s was like no other they were articulate

He’s telling a horrifying story as if he’s taking a walk on the beach… PTSD is real. Their brain has literally disassociated with emotion.

This guy right here was the most impactful out of all the interviews in the documentary. I remember when I first saw this. I kept going back to this interview. Is he still alive?

Intro to King Tee - I don’t wanna die
Damn. These the real O.G's. Not today like a bunch of kids. I wonder how Los is doing today, is he still alive, is he in the penitentiary for life, has he changed his life around.
I heard he's a used car salesman.
