Thanks for this. My family and I lived in Gibraltar during the 1950's, when my father worked in the Dockyard, as a Supply Officer for the Royal Navy. We lived in Edinburgh House on Queensway. My sisters and I went to St. Christopher's School, behind the Convent Girl's School, just around the corner from the Governor's Residence. Later, after I passed my 11-plus exams, I went to the Dockyard & Naval Technical College, which was also on Queensway, near to the Dockyard Gates, which were at the bottom of Ragged Staff Hill. During the summer, we went swimming at Catalan Bay, or during the week, the Swimming Pool at Rosia Bay. During Spring and Autumn, I liked climbing the Rock and watching the Passerines fly to or from Africa, across the Straights of Gibraltar. My brother was born in Gibraltar in 1958. We returned for a Holiday in 1971, when he was 12 and stayed at the Both Worlds Holiday apartments at Sandy Bay. This bus journey brought back many happy memories, as did the walk along Main Street and up into Engineer's Lane.

I drove from Casablanca all the way to Chefchaouen, when I visited Morocco. One of the best road trips I've ever taken, I stopped at Rabat, Asilah, Tangier, Ceuta, M'diq Tetouan and finally Chefchaouen. Beautiful scenery, Beautiful water and beaches, Beautiful mosques, Beautiful culture and people and delicious food as well. Can't ask for a better trip. Morocco is so much more than just Marrakech and Agadir.
