Last winter Stanley got a repiratory infection that he didnt survive. I had to take him to the vet multiple times for it after a couple shots and medication he wasnt able to get through it.

I have run into all kinds of weird audio related issues since I started using VM. Has been interesting to find fixes to things though very annoying and time consuming.

My wife says he always looks like an angry old man haha

Yup his light is a dual UVA/B and High Heat lamp. (Two bulbs in one housing)

I was hoping that the Java fern and hornwort would survive since they aren't very desirable food for him. But alas.

This is just for feeding! You can see his full tank in some of my other shorts. He has a full basking area in his tank. It's just easier to keep the tank clean by feeding him in a separate container

Hello friend, I am working on the first update video right now!!

I have only had this tank for about a week and the odor was pretty strong to the point you could smell the tank in the entire room. I think it was a substrate issue

I have a 120 Gallon tank on stand by for when he is bigger that I wanna do a full planted aquarium with him. (We will see how that goes with him "pipe dream" lol)

@@kingponto1295 ours got so huge that we just put her outside lol Now she roams in an area near our garden. Became best friends with the neighbor's dog xD

Oh no no no! He currently lives in a 20L aquarium specifically built for him! This is just for feeding! Here is my copy paste explanation! You can find other shorts of his full tank on my channel! TLDR, turtles are messy eaters so it helps keep the tank from getting dirty. He eats twice per day right now and turtles are messy eaters as well as having a lot of waste. I currently don't have a good enough ecosystem in his tank to feed him there without the water becoming very dirty/having algae blooms from the excess nutrients of the food he doesn't finish. I have a siphon cleaner right now that I use every day or two to remove about 1-2 gallons of water (about 10-20%) of the tank volume and put in some clean water. When I siphon the old water into the bowl you see in the video I put him in there since it is up to temp so he can eat and make his mess there then I return him to the tank with the clean water. I will eventually reduce how often I do the water exchange as the tank ecosystem gets better and more stable since this tank is only about a week and a half old.

Your character will not age. Certain ages are better for certain character types. The exact ages for each type may have changed since the video was made so I would recommend doing a quick Google search on what age is best for what you want to do.
