It's pretty funny that Hasbro thought they could get away with repainting the Valkyrie to make Jetfire. Macross might have been butchered a bit to make Robotech, but it's not like the design was unrecognizable to Americans. 🤣
Hasbro legally licensed the product from Bandai for Transformers before Robotech was released. In fact those toys were manufactured by Bandai for Hasbro.

I've often considered Kanno to be akin to Sting, and the other individual members of The Police - a true master of music in nearly every form and genre. The is really one of those rare, true geniuses and a monumental human.

マクロス熱、飯島さん、土井さん、皆様の青春が詰まってますね。 何よりも、長谷さん＝一条輝✈ 原点至上主義と言われても仕方ないですが😢 なくなった後の二代目の方にも申し訳ないですが、輝の声、長谷さんを求めてしまっ止まないです。 台詞は勿論のこと、『ウワァ』とか、『ウッ』、息切れの声でさえ、長谷さんが一条輝だったと思います。 悔やまれますね。 日本でのアニメの社会的立ち位置や浸透がもう少し早ければ、今の時代だったらもう少し行きやすかったのかなぁと想像を馳せます。 長谷さんよ、永遠に。
