Reminds me of a street where the doctors was that i had to go to. I seem to remember being sat down and looking to the side of me to discover a large cock roach upside down waving at me. The doctor saw it and put a cushions over him and i thought mmm if that had happened in the uk

Wasn't keen on Portugal not green enough for me although there were one or two nice places

i was very surprised that was first class it looked very basic and small to me, the lounge was pretty basic with just the bare essentials and the cabin looked tiny with no shower or toilet. The breakfast looked like it was for a child, and when you mentioned someone came into your cabin during the night, that was totally out of order and dangerous too. I have travelled all over Asia and their transport infrastructure is exceptional compared to UK and Europe, and quality of transport and cost in Asia is fantastic, its only when I see vlogs like this and think how can you be happy with this low standard is beyond me and no one questions the low standard either especially first class. Come on man, you cant just show us things and not question anything. don't you have an opinion on anything ?

Don’t go on a weekend, as you will find it picks up all the locals that have been on the sherbets in each town or city 😂

I do this journey every couple of weeks both ways for work. The cabins are wee but functional enough & comfortable & the buffet car is lovely. Well worth the trip. I look forward to going up to the Big Smoke for the buzz but then always good to get home to St Ives again to sit in the corner of my favourite pub with a quiet pint & a book.

One up on you I have been to Cornwall a lot it's a wonderful place. Even in this day and age you can still find quite coves. It is a very mystical place . You could do no end of video there. Thank you for that as always ❤

Have done this journey, to Truro. The most uncomfortable night of my life!

Apart from the very disturbing incident at 4am, which for a woman would be terrifying! 🚫✋ Did you get to the bottom of why it happened? But overall good value and a very convenient way to travel to the South West from London if going on holiday or business the night before and avoid a 6 hour drive.

When you arrive in PZ at that time in the morning, immediately leaving the train station is Sullivans Cafe. Good for a Full English breakfast.

I personally could not travel on a sleeper train, the beds are way too small and narrow for me. That bed looked like a toddlers bed. I am 6ft and used to sleeping in a double bed alone. Cheap breakfast in a bag too. No way would I pay £124 one way for that. It looked like a tiny prison cell too.

I think you love trains,nearly £300 to go to Cornwall.Go on a coach,stay in a hotel and have as many showers as you need.

I'd love to do this in the Summer when you can watch the early morning sunrise on the way down to Penzance.Was there any explanation from GWR as to how a complete stranger held a card-key enabling him to open your cabin at 4am in the morning? Seems bizarre at the least, and also a complete compromise to personal security (it could have been anyone!). Also, was there a specific reason you didn't book a Return journey ticket...ie was there no cost saving?
