I have been a patreon member of BalenaProductions for over a year with absolutely no problems until AI is brought up and immediately changes everything in that server. That alone set him and his followers off and turned against me. The AI images you see in the video are proudly prompted by me. I am a user of AI Art, but I do it for fun, not profit. At the end of the day, it's the work of a machine that's doing the art, using the user's prompts. BalenaProductions, along with many people, see it as a copyright issue. But that's just a perspective, AI Art was never intended to steal. It's only a problem if you attempt to make money off it. AI using resources to make its images is not stealing. That's like saying doing basic research and sharing it with your peers is stealing. This very debate is what triggered Balena Productions and his followers to behave in a negative manner towards me. One of my arguments was that hate against AI is a potential sign of prejudice. They denied that, then started making discriminating comments about my religion out of nowhere. (Reminder: I haven't been to church in 5 years, where I was able to freely leave, but I still believe in a higher power. They only knew I had a religious background because they invaded my Facebook account without permission and learned about my personal life, and went on to make suggestive comments about my family members, in which BalenaProductions enabled.) I can respect that hate against AI isn't prejudiced and just simple fear, but their actions make it hard for me to even give the benefit of the doubt in this case. This is why my resentment for BalenaProductions stands. He is someone I looked up to growing up who has betrayed me. (Reminder: he also has claimed since 2018 that my stop motions are also stolen, and hasn't said anything nice about my work, even when we got along in the discord server for the past year.)
