Yeshua Christ Jesus is the only way, the only truth, and the only life that will ever truly matter. Jesus is only way to being forgiven for all your sins before The GOD who created you, and that is the TRUTH. Through Jesus is the very narrow path to eternal life. All other paths will lead to death and eternal destruction. Believe it and surrender to God through His only begotten Son Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Amen.

BEST AMPLIFIER ON PLANET EARTH

What does THE best amplifier on Planet Earth sound like? From a cell phone mic, it's pretty darn impressive. In person?... Goosebumps, tears of playing over-joy, ending with bone tired fingers! Tactile feedback with immediate responsiveness. HiFi in the way my favorite recorded guitars jumped off the vinyl. Introducing the 20th Anniversary Joyeuse from Bludotone. From the cleanest to the tastie...
LINDY FRALIN RULES!

What do legendary luthiers do for themselves as guitar players? They build their own, of course. In this episode, Anthony Delago demos his 7 switch, 3 bucker (or are they singles?), fake Les Paul. It played like butter and sounded HUGE everywhere across the board. All guitars featured outfitted with Lindy Fralin pickups. You can never wrong with Fralins!

One of Honolulu's best luthiers, Anthony Delago demos Rick Toone's '67 strat with Rick's ground-breaking Jetson's-era tremolo. This strat is superb at every level, yet the wanger catapults it to next level-plus. Retrofitted with Fralin 30th anniversary "super strat" set (set# 23 of 30) on a butchered black pickguard.

At the beginning of the video: Notice the guitar signal present wherever I walk off-axis in the room. Deep or close, right or left, the guitar sound stays constant. The cabs are NOT mic'd. Once the drummer turns on his digital inst-band, everything went sideways, lol

Amen 🙏 ty much love🤗
Preach Pastor Dave! Tooney’s trem arm is Mary Ann Coconot Crème Pie level silky.
WiTF kind of demo is this??🤔🤔
Hell of a rig 👍 I’ve never had the opportunity to play a Tyler guitar definitely heavily rolled edges almost scalloped.
Very impressive. I considered a Barefaced cabinet for my bass, but I ended up going with an Orange OBC115 paired with a Darkglass Microtubes 900 V2. It sounds great, but I've always wondered what it would sound like through a Barefaced.
@joslinnick I learned of Barefaced through one of our local legend bass players. He swears by their bass cabs, having used just about everything boutique ever made over 40 years. I'll see if I can upload a shot of his rig. He's got a "Big Baby 3". His words: "Mine is a single 12 with a tweeter. It's about the size of a 2x10. Louder than any 4x10 I've ever owned. Eden, Ampeg, GK, EA, SWR, you name it. Two BB3s would be just incredible. I've been through 30+ years of a lot of cabs 112, 212, and mainly 412's. These cabs are truly next level. They are great quiet, or blaring. Its the additional sonic detail and wider range of headroom I'm sold-out on.

It began here: ruclips.net/video/-z8R5400lEQ/видео.htmlsi=Jp1uK82dcXpeg1B5 Then months scouring everything I could find/listen to Bludotone. Sent an mail, did an interview, and dropped the deposit in Spring 2022. Half a dozen conversations over two years, balance paid last week, and I just received the exact custom amp I wanted; with a few added (very thoughtful) features I never thought of. He's a true hall of fame builder that caters to very discerning players. I'm not anywhere near those levels, but I do know after 30 years of chasing sounds and just an hour on this amp, I've finally got the unicorn. Its not even close, Brah.
Die Gitarre ist Extravagant, gefällt mir, aber braucht man all den Elektronik / Effekt Krempel um Gitarre zu spielen?
No, I actually play more acoustic than electric. The studio rack rig and heads are for recording. You can take a McDonald's straw of audio transients and still be inspired. I prefer the fire hose approach.
This is more like the 90's rack extravaganza !!!
Great tones indeed...
So...how the heck is he getting 5 way switching out of what 'looks' like 3 way selector? Those pickups sound like single coils. Was he demo-ing the positions after already having engaged a coil split switch? Guitar sounds great! So many questions..Thanks for posting.
I was as blown away as you, friend. It's a 6-way switcher that goes around the clock. The pickups are Lindy Fralin's innovation, where you can learn more details at Fralin.com. They perform like humbuckers, but exude a narrower magnetic field thereby allowing for tighter stacking with more focused capture area of the strings. I mentioned P90's, but was corrected as that's not quite it either. Like any luthier who has been building and modding KILLER guitars for decades, Anthony's wiring schemes are his own. I wish I'd spent more time figuring out guitar guts myself, but I know who to see when I want a particular thing out of a guitar I'm not getting.
@@rogerdat7807 Thanks for the info on the switch. Your video opened the door for me to upgrade the pickups in a couple humbucker equipped guitars. My gtr tech has already got a couple of those 6-way switches that he has been wanting to try, so here we go!

Hi 👋
Made in USA baby!.. meaning it's worse quality than Japanese made guitars for thrice the price!
Third US Tyler, after sampling another three. Every one an exquisite example of how a guitar ought to feel, play & sound. Haven't sampled nihongo versions, but they aint thrice cheaper either. In Realityland, Roughly 30%. May be closer to 40 right now with exchange rates. Dave Philips owns a few so they must not suck, yeah?
I'm just a hack bedroom guitarist, but,,,,,,, If I hit the lotto....... Rick Toone 67 will be my first purchase.
Fuchs is coming in strong! "Henry give me a call.."

Is that a Bradshaw rig?
CAE amp switcher, front-end multiloop interface, and floor controller. Piecemealed.

Damn my brain xplode!!
Looking at how you stitched thar rig together made me want to look inside your head to see all the crazy shit going on there, man. Pretty cool. Exceptional geetar, too. I dont get jelly when someone has the elite stuff. Just makes me glad to see them enjoying it.
Thanks, friend. This rig has been one long 10-year journey pieced together as the budget allowed. Units I knew I wanted, or needed popped up on CL, ebay, or reverb and bingo bango - had to tango. It was my good friend's CAE rig wired together by Bob Bradshaw that ruined me. He left his rig to me for a couple of months, then took it back to gig with again. I was actually pretty miserable until I started building this rig, which kept me motivated. Wet/Dry/Wet cannot be compared, only experienced. The other sherpa (also a world-class player and rig builder) turned me onto Tyler guitars, which, if you know, you know.
You're fucked ..
Daaaaaaamn that setup is dope🤘🔥🔥🔥🔥
Sounds great
Totally Bad Ass tones. Great playing mate. I can only imagine how good it must have sounded in the room
the trem feels like it doesn’t load up tension on springs as you depress it like other trems do. the feel remains light throughout the throw of the bar. the gtr felt immediately comfortable to play. the terc stereo chorus outputs feed two neve mixer inputs directly as the second terc outputs feed the ibanez in stereo to add a verb/delay version and that runs out in stereo to two more neve channels in parallel. bricasti verb, yamaha spx2000 symphonic, tc 2290 panning delays, and eventide H8000 diamond rain shimmer+ virtual tc 1210 round out the fxs running parallel into the neve, summed out to the strategy 500🙏🤙🏽
...and the cord. You can't forget the CORD! It's, ahh... I forget.
Nice delays on there
now thats a real rig!!! not this computer simulation stuff.....
I got everything I can see on this video in my small Hotone Ampero MP-100.
That's funny. I just gave one of those units away to a friend. You know those little stirring straws they give with coffee? That's what the Ampero is to me. Its has a use, but it'll never refill my jacuzzi, much less a cup for a drink of water. I prefer tapping into the fire hydrant when getting my fill.
@@rogerdat7807 Well, I'm not Steve Lukather. I ain't money to hire technicians and that stuff. But believe me or not - I can play quite solid gig with that Ampero. Not stadium, obviously.
@Robert_Fordin I can use those free earbuds that come with a new device, but I choose not to. Yes, not everyone will have the resources to climb Tone Mountain, nor know the Sherpa's to guide them up the easier routes to the summit. My rig took 10 years to peace together, and another several months to actually wire up on my own. Almost all of it is used gear. I scoured the internet for the best possible (cheapest) deals on each component. When you say you can get everything in my rig with that toy unit, what you're really saying is you're okay standing at the base of Tone Mountain imagining what the summit looks and feels like. Pictures and written accounts will be enough to know something of that journey. Let me tell you Bro, until you put the commitment into that hike, you have zero idea what you're talking about.
@@rogerdat7807I love it! I spend a lot of time on RUclips watching videos and reading comments and there’s always some chump with, as you said “a toy unit” trying to make everyone believe he can get the same tones as someone like you that has high quality equipment. You do have expensive equipment but you also have the skill to make it sound great. 🫡
@@rogerdat7807 I think this conversation is pointless. I don't want to describe to you my problems with carrying amplifiers, loudspeakers, hundreds of cables, huge pedalboards and all this power plant that could power half the city. I assure you that 99 out of 100 people will not be able to tell the difference between the sound you produce via this analogue big stuff and the sound I can create with my digital toy. Of course, I appreciate your passion, but one day you will understand that in some matters it is worth to find the easier way.
What unit is under the TERC?
Its an old Ibanez reverb sidchained from the TERC. It ain't no Lexicon, but it has a cool thing it adds as a thickener when using Tele type (thinner) source.
That is unreal beautiful sparkling clean! What amp and chorus?!
Mesa Boogie Mk.iii blue stripe for dry, Strategy500 for stereo wet.. Fulltone TERC/Yamaha SPX "orchestral verb"/TC2290-adds some sparkle. Efx summed into Neve5059 before Strat500.
What chorus is that?
Fulltone TERC w/sidechained Ibanez old rack verb. Yami SPX Orchestral Verb patch made famous by Holdsworth puts some icing on the brownie.
Sounds great!
That mite be a fine instrument.. but it is doing its best to be very ugly.
Fatty tones!😍
Note: The audio is recorded way off-axis the cab's front. It captures clear audio of the full stereo sound from either far side. The back/side fill levels and quality is same.
Sounds incredible *(as do all the Dirty Shirley circuits). Dave's most versatile amp IMO. However, maybe I missed something... What is "Private Reserve" about this? Is this a custom one-off build of some sort??
Hehe... Dave hand picked the tubes. Shhh, don't tell anyone. Itsth a stheekret.
@@rogerdat7807 😂…too funny. I only asked because he’s building me a one-off amp with the first channel being the SS100’s (V2) plexi channel, and the second channel will be the Dirty Shirley. Your tone is what I remember my older Dirty Shirley being…such a killer amp, and designed so well, and so simple. But, I’ve been after a really good, ultra-percussive, mid-focused, plexi tone. And, when I heard the new SS100 V2, that plexi (SS channel) was killer. I asked him to use that channel as a basis, but with even more percussive, punch. So, I’m really looking forward to receiving it. Now, if I could just get your playing skills, brother…. 👍. Btw…killer studio setup to. Would love a run-down of your gear.
So, what makes yours a "private reserve" vs stock Twin Sister?
Hand picked tubes, I guess.... 😜
That Juanita sounds awesome man
That amp rocks hard....wow.
in the room the LP sounds so nice!🤙🏽
the dream rig seeps with abundant joy🎉
Signal chain?🤔
Guitar --> CAE interface loop (pedals in tray/front of heads) --> CAE amp switcher (all heads) --> Speaker load out --> PowerStation --> middle cab DRY. PS bal line out --> SwitchBlade in --> SB outs --> Racks ins --> Racks outs --> Neve 5059 --> MB295 --> L/R cabs WET. All rack gear runs parallel, ex, TERC/Ibanez verb sidechained. I got a deal on the 5059. It's the gamechanger for the rig.
Great job maestro. I’d love to hear the chorus delay vibe running through the rig. Keep em coming brother
