To be fair, the “Carcass” she’s likely referring to is Heartwork/ Swansong era Carcass. Definitely not Reek of Putrifaction era. It’s still awesome, but…
Thats crazy that i just found out about this from a comment in 2024. I bought 'Heartwork' on CD when it came out in 93. I was 13. I loved Carcass and Friends.
What would've been fucken metal would have been to show Monica's rival stuck with Carcass playing her wedding, much to the delight of her fiance as the bridal waltz starts with the intro to Heartwork.
Pub, ah yes. A meeting place where people attempt to achieve advanced states of mental incompetence, by the repeated consumption of fermented vegetable drinks.
Not sure if you've found out already, but both are members of the British band Carcass. Bill (the drummer) plays guitar and Jeff (the bassist) plays bass (obviously) and is also the lead vocalist.
Even though it isn't fully shown here, Kryten defines a pub and doesn't know what one is. A few episodes earlier (Backwards), he was in a pub and knew what it was.
Kryten as a character blows up continuity a good couple of times. S3E6 'The Last Day' he shuts down the incoming 'replacement' android by lying about silicon heaven not existing. Immediate next episode, S4E1 'Camille' the B plot is Lister trying to teach Kryten how to lie, and how he struggles with it. Watching those two episodes in reverse order is so much better continuity and is that more satisfying that it's crazy they weren't aired in the reverse order anyway. Oh well, that's still ignoring that on the same episode, Kryten struggles to insult Rimmer, ignoring how he had no real issue with it by the end of the episode where his first incarnation shows up on the show then leaves for a good while. Continuity is really not the strong suit, or really the point, of Red Dwarf, to be honest
@@ProcrastinationHyperfocus I'm pretty sure they wrote at the beginning of series 3 that Kryten crashed his bike and had to be put back together with a spare head that reset his personality. Your still right in general though about continuity and Red Dwarf.
Ah wow, I’ve been a RD fan since around the time this was first shown and I’ve never heard that fact before bizarrely! Thank you for sharing that…you learn something new (and hugely important in this case obviously) every day! 🙏😆

What people aren’t noticing as well is the main actor is the guy who presented when napalm death and bill steer were on bbc
Kjarkas ✅️ Carcass✅️
Is it really though, or a joke that it looks like them?
Young Dave Lister was a terrible songwriter. No song has only one lyric.
Will you stop saying everythings crypto-facist.
"Nothing like a good old-fashioned love song" 🤣🤣🤣 One of the funniest scenes in Red Dwarf "Ommmmmmmmmm............."
carcass gets all the love. like 11 years later they get name dropped on elementary (along with goatwhore...).
I have heard weirder Avant Garde compositions
It reminds me a bit of Endless Nameless by Nirvana. Yes, I agree.
Ommmmm 😂
Actually he became Grand Wizard of Death Metal guitarists.

If you play the Om Song backwards, you get "mo, mo, mo..."
In the midnight hour
and that's as cool as "Friends" ever got.
Carcass fuckin rules!!!
Who are they?
Too bad there is no band called Karkass..
don’t like this; too cryptofascist
I liked it when he said "Om"
I thought it was quite crypto-facist.
This episode came out in 2001. Carcass broke up in 1996 and reunited in 2007.
If she doesn't also want Carcass to play at your wedding, she isn't the one
Necroticism - Descanting The Om-Salubrious..
Totally shay-dee!
Totally shady!
Who?
Why’d they do this lol
Pub, ah yes. A meeting place where people attempt to achieve advanced states of mental incompetence, by the repeated consumption of fermented vegetable drinks.
Destroyed in the year 2020.
Watching RD for the n'th time and just started listening to carcass lol. Had to come by and check if i was right :P
\,,\ 👹 /,,/
I'm going to sound dumb asking this, but which ones are Bill & Jeff and what was they famous for?
Not sure if you've found out already, but both are members of the British band Carcass. Bill (the drummer) plays guitar and Jeff (the bassist) plays bass (obviously) and is also the lead vocalist.
@@SnackToxin I'll have a listen to them some day. The name does sound familiar.
I'm pretty sure you"re being sarcastic. Otherwise you're a dumb!
@@Johnno9989 they are fucking CARCASS........❤️❤️❤️

well technically it was going backwards so he prob saw the pub in (Backwards) after this occasion
@@unstableordinance no one likes a smart arse, (very clever answer about backwards being in the future)

Think it's Craig Charles brother "omming" as well
It is.

I absolutely love carcass and red dwarf. And didn't know this untill today hahaha
Still looking for Karkass...
So no-one told you life was gonna end with crepitating bowel erosion.
Which series is that? Halarious
3rd
Totally shady!
now thats some TRvE rastabilly skank
Fuck it it’s on here right?! Free publicity is always the best. Because we all know that Carcass was far beyond heavy metal.... 🤘🏼🎸🥁
Holy shit Phoebe.... The Mighty Carcass!!!
Thus, Om was formed
Dude I noticed how doomy it sounded.
Bills druming always reminded me of Incarnated solvent abuse, totally shadey.
Does anyone know what episode is this?I'm tryin to find this chunk in italian ( cause that's my language)
it's episode 17 from the 7º season "the one with the cheap wedding dress"
They were talking about the metal band car kiss
I just cant stop imagine carcass playin in a wedding xD
Haha thats funny
Haha this is fucked
Lol they probably just threw the word carcass out there because it just sounds like a band name without actually knowing that it in fact is a band...
I don't know, they were with Sony for a short time, maybe it was promotional attempt?
It was 2001, the band broke up in 1996.
@@julianrodriguezbarrios587 You can enjoy a band that doesn't exist anymore. Look at everyone with The Beatles.
No love lost)))
