I hope by now you're not feeling the crochet pain. One thing you might want to try for it is myofascial stretch therapy. I'm lucky since that's what my husband does for a living. But anytime so.ething hurts I have him stretch me and it'll feel better. Perfect for pregnancy pain and crafting pains for me haha

I got shoulder pain after doing a colourwork cowl and hat. It's my left side. I think it was using my left finger to hold the yarn and flicking it out to make the stitch (hard to explain) I'm an English knitter so had one yarn in each hand. Anyway I've not knit for 5 weeks and have lost my Mojo. Good to see you. Have fun. Jane

Hi Chrissie, it’s nice to see the Rock It Tee out of hibernation. I went down the rabbit hole of baby blankets once I got the news my only daughter is expecting a baby at the end of summer. Gabriel is living his best life and he is star in the making.

Your Cloudberry is a work of art! How exciting that you are going to Montreal this summer! You remind mr of myself when I had four young kids. I liked going on fun trips, but tried to always keep them interesting for my kids. A couple of times, we took the Amtrak train across the country (from Seattle to Pittsburgh where my parents lived). Then, I would rent a vehicle and we would drive to Washington, DC to explore our nation's capital. My oldest son (now 41 years old!) actually ended up living and working in DC! I always think our adventures there helped persuade him to move there. He now lives in Arlington with his wife and children and works in DC. Additionally, my other kiddos live in equally fun places where we visited- and continue to visit- daughter in Chicago, one son stayed closer to home and lives near Seattle, and my youngest actually lives not far from you-in Brooklyn!

The knitting is slow going over here too. I do have some finishes FINALLY, but they took way longer than I would have liked. Love the sparkling going on with the Cloudberry tee.

I like to go with what I want to do. I have loads of WIPS. I sit in the corner of our family room with my many project bags tucked behind my chair. When it get too much I take a few bags up to the spare room where they linger. My Battenburg Blanket is up there! I get motivated to do it for a while and then something else will come along!! Happy New Year and sounds like you had a great Christmas Family time! Lots of projects for 2024 and now I have interest in a corner to corner blanket to use up my minis and leftover skein scapes. I am always looking for car knitting projects that don't need me to look at a pattern.
