@jr52990 The movie revolves around a fascist idea that emotion causes war and murder and stuff like that, so it's all banned. Of course, dogs and other animals bring in those emotions, like happiness, joy, and so on so forth. So Christian Bale, an enforcer of these rules, starts to feel emotion.

Do you like Huey Lewis and the News? Their early work was a bit to "new wave" for my tastes, best when Sports came out in 83, they really came into their own, commercially and artistically.
