Thank you! Will do. Thanks for "pointing" that out (no pun intended). About Mandazzi (Mandaazi): Word is he is adjusting very well and has met the two mates with who he will sire a family and be leader of the troop. The only pictures available (so far) is a couple from the COUNTY OF SEDGWICK Zoo and he looks relaxed and well. Hopefully, picture and videos will soon be forthcoming from those who are excited to have him with them in Kansas.

Yes. The habitats are well-maintained. And, fortunately, many locals love and care for the animals. And the gorillas always recognize and greet the regulars 🙂.

Who is the little blackback gorilla?
That is Denny. He is nine-years-old and has not become a silverback yet. Denny is seen with his bachelor troop, that is, with his brothers Maka (29), Mandazzi (22), and Ekuba (18), at the San Diego Zoological Park in San Diego, California. To see all of them in a calmer focused state, the clip below shows them foraging and enjoying their food. Also seen here are their parents, Jessica and Paul Donn, seniors, although Memba (who has passed-on) is the biological father to Maka, Mandazzi, and Ekuba.
