@@Shocktraumalofts I have 3 under Aviators Loft this year. Last year had one that was 1st average speed until the final. 38th on the 2nd race and 16th on the 4th. On the final she didn't come in until the 2nd day 😅

Honestly if I had it to do over again I’d start with about 20-30 quality young birds and keep the best from those after racing them and breed those for the next year add another smaller group to the babies you get off those. Then just keep keeping the best and breeding from them.

Cool recommendation. My daughter named her Willow after our club founder I got her from, Gary Willeford. He passed away last Fall.

The club bought all of his birds except for about 4. Those went to a friend of his. I have 4 from him. 3 off of his old bird team and 1 breeder.

Sadly he passed away last summer. I’ll miss him, he had the best stories and led a full life.

She’s gotten good at handling em. I trust her with handling em outside the lofts as much as anyone in the club 😀

🤣 Someone guilt tripped me into posting this.

Sadly he passed away about 4 months ago. I was able to get a few birds from him and visit him a few times before his passing.

@@josechoy8456 His loft is in East Texas about 2 hours east of Dallas. It would probably be cheaper to build new than to try & buy it.
