3:00 and the rising star Mujadid saahab takes us into the past...he took his voice scale to the legendary Gulam Farid Sabri and then he scaled to his father, Amjad Sabri....this voice scale changes are NOT generally seen in any artist unless they had a traditional and deep Sangeet schooling under some great Ustad...and he is the rightful heir to the Sabri family and tradition...Masha Allah....he has full training and his hard work with the great passion has given him that range. I wish him all the success in life and happiness....to his entire family. The family has suffered such a tragedy at the hands of some lunatics, that I can not describe my frustration. Here is a story that those murderers must learn so that they can be SHAMED within their own souls....The marhoom Amjad Sabri once went to UP, India for a program where a lot of Bollywood actors and many VIP from northern states and New Delhi were present. After the program, they took the road trip in the early hours of the morning, on a desolate highway and came down upon a Dhaba where the driver decided to get tea for the group. At that dhaba, the radio was ON and the famous Amjad Sabri qawwali was on the air. The driver asked a local if he knew the name of the qawwal from the radio...the local did not know...then the driver said that he is Amjad Sabri whose qawwali was on the radio and he was right there in the group. That was it---the local alerted the local gangsters that Amjad sabri saahab was in the dhaba. Within minutes of that, the gangsters approached the dhaba and surrounded the group....demanding that Amjad Sabri and the group perform LIVE. There was no time watsed, a stage was set and Amjad sabri saahab sang that qawwali and more....the gangsters were so belated and happy and thankful...they helped Amjad Sabri and the group to get back on the road fast enough to catch the flight, accompanying them to the airport in their vehicle so that Amjad saahab may not have any trouble on the road to the airport. Little sarcastic fact here is ----the gangsters were all Hindus from the upper caste and majority in the UP program were Hindus. They remained so quiet during both programs that it was hard to believe...because in India, the Sangeet is revered as an uber Art and a Gift from Goddess Saraswati.....the people from elsewhere will enjoy the music adn applaud while the people from India will try to understand the music, lyrics and its theme so that it can be fully absorbed by their souls and not just the ears. That is the difference....Three attacks were carried out on the life of Amjad Sabri...he did not harm anyone. He did not take anything from anyone. He was a Sufi artist who influenced so many non-muslims and they accepted Islam....But the people of Pakistan nurtured a Satanic agenda against an artist and murdered him in a bright daylight on the street. What is wrong with people? Did some crazy idiot give out some Goddamn fatwa to kill Amjad Sabri? CRAZY and SHALLOW people.
